haha.... its impossible to clear meter with just this mod... you need lots of stuff to make it clear meter... even mine modded.... the meter never even touch the 170 mark.... and i think using gpr cannot really give the best power in clearing up the meter....

if you want to mod to clear meter... you need to change cdi, carb, air filter, piston, block, fast throttle, hi cam, stiff valve spring, and more you know.... think twice if you want to do.... cheers

Hmmm that's informative, actually how to overcome the problem where X-1R going incline slope with load. With the current stock condition, the engine response to my throttle kind of lag... despite persistently opening of throttle. The slope wasn't that steep some more.

For those parts u mention above, wat's the approximate cost?

anyone here encounter a tiaking sound somewhere from middle to the rear. the sound comes every one full round the wheel rotates. tried parking on mainstand engage gear 1 to let the wheel roll, no sound. checked chain and sprockets good condition, used not even 1 mth 2 weeks to be exact(new bike). the sound only came when both the front and rear wheels is rotating on the ground and after the bike has gone a dist(not more than 2km)

I does experience the tiak tiak tiak, but I only experience it after I park my bike after riding. Its coming from the exhaust if I'm not wrong.

Actually I read alot of you guys mention about CDI, what is it? Something associate with kick start?

What impact can I expect from an aftermarket carb? I read Motoworld webbie, saw a Yoshimura underbone carb.
