Semi-synthetic Oil: $18/bottle x 2 only = $36

Spark Plug: $12 x 2 only = $24 (Parallel Twin)

Oil/Plug/Filter change Total = $78! (Every 2 service intervals, if not change oil and filter only)

Cheaper than S4!!!

Tyre: S4 size!!!

 

Maintenance Interval:

Till date, all maintenance follow service guide. All receipts are properly filed in for viewing. Currently service intervals are at 8000kms.

 

Looks:

Fell in love with this Twin straight after viewing it at Bike shop. Bike is cleaned weekly religiously under void deck. Outlook please see pictures. Say thousand words. Covered during rain, showcased in good weather. hahaha. IMO, there's no other bike as sexy as this in its category for the price range.

 

Fuel:

Tank is small comparing to my previous bike, S4. Full tank is slightly more than 14.5 liters. Full tank will take you 320km. Averaging a mileage of 21.2km/litre.

 

Riding:

The power delivery comes fast (parallel twin)in the revs. You will be smiling wide at stoplights. Torque is healthy low to mid revs. Max speed 215km/hr only. How fast you want to go in SG? The bike is amazingly light & agile. Just point to where your going and twist the throttle. Seat height is like S4. Overall bike dimensions is slim, comparable or slightly slimmer than the S4. Its an ease lane splitting in heavy traffic.

 

Overall:

Great commuter bike with bad ass ninja looks. The downside; exhaust note is more like a phantom + DRZ. Gotta get the aftermarket slip-on if you are bothered by it. There's little under seat storage. Its enough only for the tool kit, riding gloves, cleaning cloths, & riding papers.

 

P.S. People will see left & right when stop behind you looking for the exhaust pipe. Good luck to them!
