Illegal Parking at Void Deck

last month i got fined for some stupid reason...

it was friday evening ard 8pm, park my bike in the multi storey carpark nearby at a corner lot

i put 3 coupons, coz i know i won't be going anywhere till saturday afternoon..

the next thing i know when i take my bike on sat noon was... i got fined.

the summon says i never put enough coupon.

 

i actually put the coupons on decent location...

- one for friday evening on the fuel tank

- the two on my bike fairing

 

i then send an email to appeal to the HDB town officer in my area

he replied & say my appeal is rejected because the officer was issuing the fine after doing thorough check... which was nonsense, coz he should not miss out the coupons on my fairing if he really checked

 

i appeal again... same reply... then he say that i should pay the fine asap

i insist not to coz i believe i did nothing wrong, thus why would i pay the fine? he reply again saying he may bring this matter to court...

 

so what do you think? what is my chance getting the fine cancelled?

the fine is not alot la... just $8, but i dont believe making the payment when i think i shouldn't get the fine at the 1st place...

 

just my sharing...

PS: i often see the tp doing the regular check, she's like just doing it for the sake of completing the job...

i believe ur chance of getting it waived is close to zero.

I agree with u fully that it is not ur fault. But sometimes life is unfair. Coz u got no concrete prove to prove ur innocence.

If i were u, i will put all three coupons at the fuel tank but spread it like how u will spread a deck of poker cards in ur hand so that by one look, any warden can see that there is 3 coupons.

Also, why cause urself so much trouble for the sake of just $8? it is not worth to go to court for that amt!!

i juz kena 2 big ones dis morning.. 2 bikes.. 100 bucks each.. 200 dollars.. waaaa~

 

hai.. oso duno whr to start.. i was feelin quite energetic dis mornin so i decided to gif my bike a wash.. so i did wat i normally do.. move my bike up the void deck..

 

as i was ridin my bike up.. 2 office lookin ppl saw me n approached me.. they warned me if i park my bike under the void deck i wil get fined.. i told them i was onli goin to wash my bike.. then one fellow told me to shift my bike out after i'm done n dun wash it on the tiled floor (which was basically the WHOLE void deck).. i nodded but wondered who they were.. i suspect they were from the town council cos i was them inspectin the wall when they walked to the opp blk..

 

so i started to wash my bike.. took me quite a while and when i was done i looked at my fone.. 1050hrs.. 1hr 10mins til town council closes.. i tot it was safe cos onli the town council wil come n fine me..

 

i was decidin whether i shld shift my bike out.. ultimately my laziness took over.. i tot there's not much time left so i shld be safe..

 

end up.. kena 2 jialat jialat.. y 2 ? cos other then my bike.. i was takin care of my fren's scram which i park under the void deck too..

 

anyone can tell me wat r the chances of an appeal goin tru ? and wat kind of convincin reasons can i gif.. any successful cases ?

 

200 bucks realli too much for me..

 

 

 

sigh, u really should have washed it at the designated venue like MSCP washing bay or etc.

i used to perform maintainence of mi bike at the void deck too until the town council installed CCTV.

i kenna 100 for parking in no parking area.. $100 sia.. how am i goin appeal?? its HDB one.. e-mail better or send letter better???

1st time... 100... appeal got 50... then 2nd time 100... appeal no use... 3rd time appeal no use.... all different bike
