Hi, all,

I'm looking for a shop that can supply, cut & bend stainless-steel bars to my spec.

The bars I'm looking are of 2-3cm breadth by 0.2-0.4 cm thickness. Length is variable cut to my spec (a few pieces). I found a shop that sells such bars but they will only cut and not bend for me.

 

Anyone knows such shops?

If West side, lagi best.

 

Oh, and before anyone mentions it, I know about Seng Kwang.

I prefer to try DIY & budget it down first.....

yoo bro....u wanna bend ur stainless steel pipes to fix to make wat item eh?...hope u dont mind if i ask.....u wan e shop to bend for u tru firing or jus plain bending using machine press?..jus a curious fella.....u wanna make engine guard eh for ur ghost?

I have rolling machine. I also have shearing machine to cut.

Can use to roll the plates you have but can only make it round cannot bend to defined angles.

If you need, let me know.

1.5mm and mayb4 4mm and maybe 6mm. Have to check.

If you read my posting earlier, its not pipes. Steel bars.

I'm not making a engine-guard. Rather fashioning a DIY bracket to hold up my saddlebags at a more appropriate angle & distance (not boxes).

ah..a diy bracket...tt wld be great...yups u shld get yappie's shearing machine ...it wld be easier....i tink i maybe roughly guessed wat ur doin....coz i made similar brackets to connect 3 anchor points for a wing rack.......n had to cut bit n bend n weld back e cut areas to get e desired angle....if u jus try to bend....e metal will look out of shaped.....anyways how's ur project goin so far?

Yes, but for a single one....it may not be worth the cost.

A sketch from u + picture of location intended to mount would be of great help. remember, bleuprints have to be drawn from design software before fabrication. pls dun ask for estimate at this stage.
