I'm very impressed with the exhaust hanger, rearsets & the brake disc! Where can I find one of these discs?

Actually, you should be more impressed with whatever's inside the engine... That's a whole lot more impressive then the exterior stuffs.. Cheers!~

Like no one interested in the disk brake man.. K lah..$40 might be abit more to pay for a pair of disk brake.. But then, an older rider once told me, that 3 things we must never stinged on for bike's accessories. That is the helmet, tyres and brakes.. Thats why i always go for the best, michellin gold tyres and aeroblade helmet(although i sold it and bought a cheaper one). I had saved alot on transportation with this bike already.. no point saving more..

Just a quick question to start the discussion on dna. Which coolant is the best for our dna.

I just change my brake cable to the 'HEL' . What do you all think ? Is it good?

Congrats!! HEL is an excellent choice you've made.

Yes it is a great choice. Hel is one of the best brand brake lines for bikes, how much you pay ah?

Cheers

Thank you. i am glad that it's a good. Because i didnt know about it when i bought it. I don't really know much about parts. All i know is malossi ...ha..ha :cheeky:

I paid $180 for front and back. Please don't tell me that i paid more than i should.

How about the coolant? which brand is good?

Posted

Hmmm, coolant is not really a vital thing here in Singapore as there is no temperate climate to worry about. If you want to spoil yourself and treat your bike to something nice, engine ice, etc. are quite good, but the Gilera will run perfectly well on just battery water.

Cheers

Yes. That is the one that some guy next to me at the traffic told me. He said engine ice is the best. I not sure if he is pulling my leg or not.

So i guess normal coolant will do right? no need to spend extra?

Dan i saw form the past post that you know which brake pad is good. Can you recommend me some. Can tell me where to get them, how much and what size.

Thank you

Go down to Ideal motors, they have a brand called "Braking". Anyway, I too want to change my front ones, so we can go down there together? I believe the DNA one is about $28, cheaper if bro Big Cow is there.

Cheers

P.S. You should start an msn messenger account, hehe...
