I read from the forum about tis shop, initially dunoe whether is it really so good n dare not try out... then 1 fine day my bike ve a funny sound so I went over to try out tis shop coz itz near my home... They settled my problem n everything was so good even better than when i took it out from another bike shop in ubi. The people there r oso veri friendly n everytime u sure get free drinks even if u dun do anytin...

Kelvin (the boss) is the best, my frnz's bike skidded, the bike was towed over to unique, when he saw my frnz's leg bleeding, he even help my frnz to apply anti-bacteria lotion n cream... Even my frnz was shocked wif tis friendly boss..

I m Unique Motorsports supporter....

seems like most of the motortiam getting better in term of service and

relationship, this might be due to losing cust as bikers choose to go at best

Though the price is a lil higher than others, but i gladly pay so coz their after sales service is gd...

Shop: F*rst Motor

Address: 3 Ubi Road

Tel: 67431911

What service/product did you purchase?

Full servicing and replacement of a few parts

Level of service: 8

Level of knowledge: 7

Level of value for money: 5

Firstly the staff there are all very friendly except for the woman at the cashier, who tends to be quite unfriendly and sometimes rude. Secondly, I won't mention any names, I'm riding an SP and I sent it for full servicing, my bike has been running without any problems for 1 year plus already, after the servicing (which cost arnd $200) a lot of problems cropped up. When I was riding back from the shop there was a lot of white smoke coming out from the exhaust. On the weekend I went back to the shop, on the way there (takes about 20-30 minutes to reach), my engine died at least 6 times on first gear. When I stop at a traffic light I had to keep the RPM at 3000 otherwise the power will just drop and the engine will die. When I went back, the guy said my oil ring was spoilt, he replaced it for $10 and charged my $35 for the service.

After that I went straight to Bishan without problem, parked for a few hours. When I warmed up the engine before going home, the coolant liquid started dripping. I only had my lisence for 1 year + so I don't know that much about the inside of my bike so I just rode home intending to monitor it. The next day the coolant liquid stopped dripping but the 2T started leaking from an unknown point. I'm still monitoring now but overall I'm quite pissed off at the shop because I paid over $300 for all their servicing and there are still problems like this.

I'm having trouble reading the receipt but here are the rough costs.

First full servicing:

New Chain: $60

Replaced cable (not sure which one): $5

Brake Pad: $25

Piston: $25

Servicing cost: $60

Bottle of chain lube: $25

Extra costs (can't read): $7 +$ 7 + $12

Total: $226

Second servicing:

Cleaning of exhaust: $45

Oil Ring: $10

Lining: 12

Service: $35

Total: $102

In one week: $328

I think I got cheated, and I wouldn't have minded if I got cheated but they did a good job because I understand that they want to earn money but to cheat me and do a lousy job is really fckt up. I wouldn't recommend anyone to go there unless you are already good friends with the staff. Maybe they just cheated my money cause they know I'm quite noob.

Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car

and oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.

Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall,

torque is how far you take the wall with you.
