I am selling my lovely baby Vara as it is time to upgrade to class 2. I have owned the bike for the last 2 1/2 years and covered about 25,000km without a single breakdown or issue. Maintenance done regularly at Bikeworkz @ Kaki Bukit Road - feel free to ask Ah Tat for a professional opinion.

 

The bike is the original 2001 model, FU plate registered in Singapore in 2002, with COE renewed with more than 8 years left. At current prices the COE left on the bike is worth 1,600+ and is expected to go up due to reduced bike quotas in the future.

 

The Vara 125 is one of the luxury options in class 2B, probably the most comfortable class 2B bike for both pillion and rider and a fantastic road presence, most people unfamiliar with the model will not believe it's a 2B bike. Genuine touring potential with decent suspension, tires, luggage capacity, many here have taken their baby Varas to Thailand and beyond. The large 17.5L fuel tank and low fuel consumption means you can easily do Singapore to KL nonstop, (400km range without refueling.)

 

Easy to use as a commuter bike, I use it on a daily basis to and from work and will continue using it until sold. This is also a perfect starter bike for those who plan to upgrade in the future to a middleweight or a big tourer. Many former Vara riders now ride a BMW GS, V-Strom, Super Tenere.
