Cost: SGD 50 per pax (incl. accomodation, breakfast, lunch, tea and BBQ dinner)

Distance: 75km (one-way)

Travelling speed: 80-100km/h - subject to weather, road condition, etc

Travelling time: Approx. 1hr 30min

Pertaining to Tanjung Piai ride; They hv called & want me to finalized the room booked. I hv gave my word that deposit of 30% will be made on Monday, 19-9-05 latest; together with the finalized room.

 

Kat sini I wld like to say thank you very BIG to TLK24 yg telah ngan tak jemu2 mengepos & mengremind bro2 & sis2 abt the trip. He understands it very well that since aku ber'motor' baru, it belum running in very well yet, so ku tak dpt bersama MR as often as him, be it over the milo-dino or here at the net.

 

Being in the motorbiking circle long enuf, I hv met many frens; some shared the passion, some becum gud buddy, some just touch-n-go, some dah kena ikat, some dah kena gantung (liscense) & some already dead . In biking world, some like to tour, some like to stunt, some like to play track, some like to play plentong, some like the speed, some just like to enjoy the breeze, some just like to lepak2 locally, some used it to selit daun :lovestruck & some just treat it as a cheap / convenience way of transportation. This is the way it is & each individual liking deserved to be respected.

 

As for me, since the 80's I am used to be a biking touring freak. Riding solo to most parts of Malaysia then, starting with my katana125 (suzuki), maxim400 (Yamaha), NV750 (honda), vulcan500 (kawa) & now CG110 (honda). Then, there was no such thing as Plus NSHW; Air Hitam being the entry level, until Kota Baru via Gerik highway when it was just opened.

 

As the years goes by plus the surfaces of internet world / forum, the community / frens folded with leaps & bounds, I seems just don't know when to stop; from a pathetic solo ride-outing before to a grouped-outing now. With such touring passion, I believe SOME of new frens out there might hv the same want(ing) to do, but dare not try & dunno where to start. This is where I would like to try breaking the ice; in the suitable dept which suit my passion (touring). Sorry, stunt, track or plentong(ing) is not my dept; thus it wld be gud of those who are gud at it can 1 day do it officially for MR. Hanya sekadar pandangan peribadi ku sahaja, motorsikal shd't di-anggap sebagai cheap transportation sahaja; it should be elevated beyond that .

 

So, if any of you who are still on the fence either to nak pegi, tak nak pegi, nak pegi, tak nak pegi ... the final closing date (with payment) will be till midnight, sunday 18th Sept.
