abt this motorcycle insurance claimed, aku tak tau sangat la. Alhamdulillah, thus far never seriously involves before; dulu2 ada gak lah jatuh bodoh . Kalau kereta pulak, many yrs back, selagi the car is at workshop we claimed $50 a day for lost of transportation (harga avg kereta sewa diwaktu itu) PLUS all medical fees, lost of time inncured & hardship. Tapi semua dijalankan oleh insurance company. So aku feel kalau the motor is also your ony mode of transportation, perhaps somekind of claim in the similar manner can oso being made, PASAL walaupon motor accident, aku rasa instalment tetap jalan terus (correct me)

tats true....Installment still bayar terus.....Can claim frm insurance for lost of use of yur accident vehicle.....but all tis claims dpnds on yur bike shop nak add it in ke tidak.....TApi kedai selalu wld quote claim yg tinggi2 and macam2....coz they know nanti insurance company will come dwn to take pics of the bike and then they will cut off certain of yur claims....So its better to claim seberapa banyak.....so bila they cut....u still get get quite a hefty amount....

tapi so far klw motor kite uat claim letter tak pernah ade loss of use, tak tau nape.. but i think cuz e rider is injured, so he get mc kan? so takleh claim loss of use lah! sbb klw da mc kan takle kuar jenjln! bab tu bila motorcycle claim jer slalu yg claim cuma injury, medical expenses, etc.. and oso loss of gaji ot sbb mc n takleh werk!

I am sorry to hear bout your mishap. I do hope it is not too serious injury happen to you. As you can post in the net. But i do hope you take this Accident as a reminder. Maybe u want to an AAR (after action review) on yourself on how you can anticipate or reduce the chances of you meeting an accident.

 

motor kau is kept at airport pound. Motor dah boleh reaslease. TP will not SENT the bike to inspection. Just to check the damages sustained on the bike.

 

You can collect your bike once the IO record your statement or the green light. Then u bring your bike to IDAC for inspection. Lepas tu antar to your favour bike shop. Lepas tu pergi ke HOH coporation and filed for insurance claims or any damages.

 

Submit aje insurance claimed and damages etc to the solicitors. Let them go and fight the case who is rite and wrong. At this stage take it everyone is not a fault. Let the insurers fight the case coz u paid for your insurance!

I got $4000 last accident in mar 2003. 2004 June baru dapat duit. thats for simple tailended nye kes. More MC= More money. anyway, taxinye insurance yang bayar ape. 6 days nye MC, plus specialist clinic visits.

 

I went to Kalai n Co. Dia settle kan repair fast game(9 days).

 

Just ensure kau cakap mana yang kena langgar tu masih sakit....

and FYI, claim boleh banyak kalau stated as permanent injury.

do remember... i assumed you are on a major cross junction. Even if you got the right of way. and you see a mangkuk taxi turning right infront of you from the opp direction.

 

The best is slow down and avoid it at all cost. You are on 2 wheels. Chances of you wining the taxi in a metal to metal crash is ZERO. Unless u drive 3 tonner maybe u will win. But what is it for?

 

sometimes in riding you have to use common sense and patience to survive. This is something driving center dont teach. If you feel it is safe you turn or proceed. if it not then dont proceed. Why take that risk?

 

Do you know that only a faction of accident cause is due to MECHANICAL FAILURE. The rest is failing to give way or to take safety measures?

 

I do remember someone every tell me it is better to be alive than be dead. You can be right at times but you also can be DEAD right.

 

Dont take my posting as i am saying that you are in the wrong. But to recapped and look at it another view.

 

PS: i have seen many accidents happen infront of me. All this can be avoided. SOmetimes we humans want to take that slight risk of danger. And that risk can be controlled.

so bile detec da abis investigate kan, they send us a copy of the video, we see tt e Plaintiff carry her baby, bawak barang belian yg berat2.. ahakz..

trus e case close seh! sbb Plaintiff tipu! so ni kire mcm nasib lah kan...

that why one 1 important thing.. is that NEVER ASSUMED. If not sure.. slow down or stop. dont say nasib badan.. it is not a good word. find something else man!
