what went in the calculation is that they have failed to add back the change they supposed to recieve.

 

Each person at first paid $10 mah so total is $30 what. So minus off the tip and pizza the bal is $3 rite. So each take back 1 buck what.

 

So if follow that calculation. U will never get $30 buck. Coz each of you pay $9 so the total amount would be $27. Which is enuff to pay the pizza and the tip. But provided the pizza is not $30. then they would have no change back.

 

They didnt add the total amount minus the amt paid. During this part it mislead you in thinking something is really wrong.

 

if you want to get a clear pic.. get a 3 ten dollars notes. 1 two dollars note. 3 one dollars note.

 

Do as what is instructed. U will find something wrong somewhere.... :smile: my london is not good man... but can show u how it is done

A snapshot..

 

Me and my fellow engineer in my previous employment, well we had nothing better to do after doing a month long project. It ended on a high note and since everyone just came after we completed it to gain credit, we decided to tease them, from the General Manager right up to our Delivery Driver, Ah Thong.

 

We tried on 5 of our colleagues. GM, Purchasing Manager, Workshop Manager, Quality Manager and Delivery Driver.

 

The managers did what u guys did and came to that wicked 0.6777777 value and tried to argue their way out.
