Hi geng, seems like me cant ketcup with the speed of this thread. Anyhow me try to cum in & reply certain posting. Since I don’t c anybody reply to the abv, let me try to splain in in simple London.

 

If u want to change SG$ to say Malaysian currency, u got to look at the buy rates. Means u agree & willing to ‘buy’ at a certain price. The money changer got to make some monies. Like wise if u wanna change back those RM to SG$, look at the sell; means u agree to sell at certain price. Tolak or tarik, the person or persons sits behind those counter got to earn some living.

 

Being in the free market, they don’t force u to do trading at their counter, that’s why we always look-c-look-c who can give the best rates in the area at that time. So the agree to buy or sell ‘your product’ at their pricing is totally your call.

 

The same goes to share market.
