Ok once awhile I think it's gd to input some useful tips & info into this ever fun MR thread.

 

Something good (IMO) which I hv just found out & feel must share. Recently I am scouting for cheap & reasonable boots for my daily office usage (I hv been using the Sidi vertebra since late last yr & feel sayang seeing it wear-off fast).

 

Recently I bought a low-cut version of SIGMA boots (made in Pakistan) at Chong Aik at $80. It WAS damn hard at 1st & slowly fits comfortable in just days. Although the internal's may not as comfortable at the Sidi's but found out that the sole hv THE BEST GRIP I hv ever use thus far. I hv managed to push the bike with EASE on the normally slippery parking lots with oil stains. My previous touring boots was VendraMini (Italy), still the sole does not match this.

 

At $80, it gives better protection than the chiong LAB sidi ($50, I guess) or the Mustafa office boots ($100 approx) & looks & feels better than the kings Safety boots. U just need to remove the toe slider so as it looks more presentable to use it daily. Claimed to be waterproof as well. $80 is very reasonable IMO (open price $95). I shd hv take the Hi-cut version instead at just $115 (open price).

 

That's it; I will share more if I found out something new. Perhaps others can share their tips or good info here as well. :thumb:

Aku selalu pegi kat Joo Chiat branch ... Normally after service ( motor :sweat: ) dikawasan yg berdekatan :smile: . Yup the display (tagged) price is what I bargain. I normally get a good deal from the guy (Meng). Got the sidi vertebra at 380 (open 460) while others (frens) got at 400 lowest. :cheeky:
