If only they can win 4-0 for all the games for the remaining of the season (definitely I'm dreaming) this season's premier league gonna be theirs

yo cisse is back on his feet liao

Cisse impresses on Ligue 1 return

Djibril Cisse

Cisse broke his leg just before the 2006 World Cup

Striker Djibril Cisse played his first game for Marseille after a six-month injury lay-off and created the winning goal in the 2-1 victory over Monaco.

Cisse, 25, who is on loan from Liverpool, broke his leg in France's last match before the World Cup and had not played since in a competitive game.

He came on as a second-half substitute and set up Mamamouda Niang to put Marseille 2-1 up in Saturday's match.

Cisse said: "It still isn't the Djibril that we all know, but it's satisfying."

His performance led to him receiving a standing ovation from the 53,000 home crowd at the Stade Velodrome.

I received a great welcome from the exceptional fans

Djibril Cisse

"I am very happy, I thought I was only going to get 15 to 20 minutes," added Cisse.

"It is a dream come true to play for Marseille. I played in front of my mother, my wife, my friends.

"I received a great welcome from the exceptional fans. I was like a little boy starting at a new club."

Saturday's win was only Marseille's second success in nine league outings.

Mickael Pagis headed home a cross from Taye Taiwo in the 32nd to put Marseille ahead before Marco di Vaio equalised just before Cisse's introduction.

Marseille are fifth in the standings, while Monaco suffered their first defeat in six matches to slip to 16th - a point above the relegation zone.

Cisse joined Marseille on a season-long loan in July, with an option to make the deal permanent.

Liverpool signed Cisse from Auxerre for a record club transfer fee of £14m in July 2004.

Can't be coz if Pool wins all its games 4-0 then Man U will lose one of its games 4-0..

True ah even if Man U lose one game 4-0 to Pool but they win all the games 3-1 , they still win the league but I don mind Man U taking the title this season as long as Chelski doesn't..

But let Pool win Man U 4-0 la then Man U can take the title all..

I don fancy Luis Garcia although he does knack in crucial goals..

He tends to lose the ball often and IMO "soft" for the EPL

But his brilliance is proven in Europe.

Mediocre at times in passing or playmaking. But when no ones expects it, he always pops up at the right time and scores in a fanciful fashion. Both in Europe & EPL.

Just take the last goal. A curving header from the edge of the penalty box. From nowhere and after some mediocre perfomance in the match.

Its not the first time he's done it and certainly won't be the last.

He is what commentators call an enigma. A "wildcard", some may say. :)

Not to mention we have to thank him for sinking Chelsea in not one but TWO cup semi-finals....

gonzalez, pennant, bellamy, kuyt, aurelio, pauletta.

You forgot one more. Daniel Agger.

Of them, I would say Agger, Kuyt & Bellamy has been the best buys so far. Pennant & Gonzalez still got a lot to prove. Aurelio's not settling in. He's got a killer freekick and attacking instinct but defensively-suspect, unlike Risse.

Pauletta is still new but fitting in well slowly.

Agger will be an excellent replacement for Hyppia when Hyppia's retiring. Only that he's not as tall so will not command the aerial battles. But he can match speed and possibly finesse with Carragher.
