UEFA Champion's League Final 16 draw:

FC Porto v Chelsea

Celtic v AC Milan

PSV Eindhoven v Arsenal

Lille v Manchester United

AS Roma v Lyon

Real Madrid v Bayern Munich

Inter Milan v Valencia

and...

Barcelona v Liverpool

Holy s**t!!!!!

Of all teams, we have to meet Barca?

ManUre gets to meet Lille? The easiest team to beat in the last 16?

WTF???

Is this UEFA's idea of having a little fun and getting more TV ratings?

Goals by Xabi Alonso, Craig Bellamy and Steven Gerrard sealed a comfortable win for the Reds who moved to within eight points of second-placed Chelsea.

Actually, I'm not afraid of LFC playing against Barca.

Its a good thing if you look at it from another view.

LFC win, then there is no team, absolutely no team that can stop Liverpool.

Not Hairdryer with ManUre, Arsenal, not even Moaninghole & his merry band of ho-ho-ho Blues.

And I am supremely confident that one man can make sure that happens.

As long as his laptop doesn't crash.

What drives me nuts it as if there is a little conspiracy by UEFA to pit the last 2 winners against each other this early.

And ManUre against the weakest team in the pool?

Gonna get tired them listening to them bragging ard as if they just met a team from Mars and kicked their butts.

hmm...

If Lille kicks their butts, I might be shopping around for a Lille jersey....

Lpool has lost 5 times this season.

No team can stop Lpool?

Hmm.

Actually Pool rises to the BIG occasion whenever playing the BIG teams like Juve and Milan..

Its only that they perform horribly playing SMALL teams like Lille and Man U.. That's why I'm worried when they are drawn against Barca .. And when they go through to the quarter finals (which they will) I don mind them facing the BIG teams again..

I love it when the "big" teams lose to a small team like West Ham..

Hahahahah

Hmm.

I recalled a certain team in another red shirt and sponsored by a certain insurance agency going down twice, once in France and once in Scotland to a Shinsuke-special that even Beckham would have been proud of.

LFC, on the other hand, straight unbeaten run in Champions League group stage. Secure passage to last 16 with 2 games to spare when everyone else was talking about their "inconsistency" and "under-performance".

Hmm...

Maybe everybody should keep talking like tat.

All the way to the finals on the Fields of Anfield Road....

All round the Fields of Anfield Road

Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and he could play)

Stevie Heighway on the wing

We had dreams and songs to sing

Of the glory round the Fields of Anfield Road

Watched the match.

I would say its a humbling, even a good lesson for all the players.

We were overconfident at the back and not fully taking goal chances well enough.

I think Bellamy will be a permanent fixture in the team.

Kuyt & Bellamy makes a great partnership. Crouch would be a great 3rd attacking option.

Hopefully, the team will take this loss in stride and bounce back against Spurs this weekend.
