I got 28 points. 10 points was from exiting the figure 8 I didn't notice there was a lorry at the corner and I need to stop for them, I just ride out because the lorry was at a distance away. And 6 points at e brake, didn't hit the speed...carelessness haha

Hmmm... When exiting, I usually cheat a little. Look at the slope in front. By the time if you enter the left turn into your F8 and there is a vehicle near there. Be ready to stop. 100% it will be there just nice to ambush u. If u don't want to cheat, during the last right turn in the F8, look up and really check for vehicle. If u miss the 11s. It's 4 pts up to 13s. Plenty of time.

E brake, accerate with gusto at 1&2 gear. Try to hit your 35kmh with 2 gear. Don't worry the engine sound is meant to be loud one. Just whack. By the halfway mark you should be into 3 gear and maintaining the 30-35kmh mark. Just maintain, hands straighten, head looking forward. Right hand hold throttle until pass the cone then. Let go throttlr, squeeze front brake and step on back brake. Apply more pressure when u feel comfortable. And keep looking forward, left leg out and clutch in. Put both legs on ground. Step gear, signal right , check back move and you have done it.

Practice the steps above . Confirm 0 points for e brakes... That's my formula for e brake. Hope it helps.

You can see up to 7 days per page maximum. I think you can view until 3-4 weeks away... never looked that far before.... usually i can find a class in the next 7 days...

I cancelled my lesson, then I can see the calendar. Else can't see.

Think SSDC needs to change this. Imagine you want to change ur schedule, but can't see it w/o cancelling ur booked lesson.

Haha... It won't change because u are not allowed to double book. So this systems stops u from doing it.. Cr can see... I guess only for lesson u will have that issue.

Pass my lesson 4 today. Got 8 demerit points for blind spots...

Oh well, looking forward to my lesson 5. Any tips and what to look out for?

U-turn. Half clutch if using 1st gear. Throttle more if u feel like you are dropping.

Form up. Remember left, right left, right total 6 going out. 4 when coming back.

Take a night class if u can... You are required to take at least 1 night class before going for lesson 7.

You'll be going out to public road. Make sure your pdl is in your booklet. Else u cannot take the lesson. Also go early to choose a rain coat and strap it to your bike.

Have fun!

Passed my Lesson 1! :bounce::bounce:

When lesson 2 :)

Plank - Look far, throttle more when going up. Grip tanks with tights, clutch release more.

Pylon Salom - Aim for middle of the two cones. Release throttle when turning, throttle when u want to come "up". Grip tank with tights, use body to swerve the bike.

slope - Remember which side to check back and blindspot check. Throttle more, release clutch, release brakes. Release clutch fully when going down slope.

All the best!

Just a random question not related to the school but needs some help and advice.

I wanted to get a scooter kind of bike, something like Yamaha Cygnus. Is it good for newbie rider?

yes do check with counter there will be a booklet for RTT, also try to book the trial test for RTT...so practice more questions answer e.g. free play for clutch, chain loose, and 1.5 meter.

Agree. Rode a scooter many years back as my first bike. Very relaxing and easy to control, since it's auto. No need to change gear. Draw back is that now I go back to take 2A, I ride like complete 2B newbie. lol

Plank totally chuis... I realized i cant look that far... Felt my comfort zone now is look at middle, then vision gradually move along till the end of the plank

Pylon, still alrite, just need abit more practice

Slope, I done it before in BBDC also, so not more issues, just need to be more mindful of the checking.

In summary, nobody passed this lesson in my session today. :dozed:

Wished next lesson, I can straight practise plank

My tip is accelerate fast enough to comfortably go up the plank, then clutch in fully and use rear brake to slow down on the plank until you clear. If you aren't that zai yet don't be so concerned with the timing, just concentrate on maintaining balance all the way first.
