I would like to add lights to my bike after going through a dark stretch of road and a car could not see me when he was turning right and I had to avoid him.

usually changing light bulb would do the trick. i'm not sure why changing bulb is not an option but installing additional lights is not allowed in sg if i'm not wrong and they have to be covered while u are in sg if you did install it. (argument is that you can use it overseas but not in sg) another possibility is you can get a change of headlight if you bike is able to fit other bike model headlight.

phantom has a really weak charging system. not meant to add additional electrical load on it such as spot lights or large signals. my suggestion if u really really want additional light, stick to LEDs, such as CREE spot lights. there is still load, but not as much as halogens. it is illegal mind you. so do so at your own risk. :)

the problem was that the car was in the side lane and I was on the main road, I had those 3m diamond type of reflector tape, but it didnt work because the car was turning out and could not see me with this dim light. this headlight is really too dim.

I think I would add those led riding lights and maybe even some head light.

If kenah is it fine only or got kenah demerit point? If fine only not so bad.

What bike you riding? If your headlight really so dim, then can pass inspection?

they check for brightness, if dim, I do not think they would normally fail you. I thought I saw a 7000 fail somewhere but passed. Didn't know what it means.
