and also any one knows whether exel rims comes in 18"...??? sorry for the stupid question..newbie here...thx in advance...

Hi,

 

My ride is currently abit shaky.. The front feels "jumpy".. I was told that my steering cone is spoilt(its really rusty btw) and was quoted $70 for a change.. I also understand that it could be the forks since I havent serviced it since god-knows-when.. But the forks aren't leaking though, i've checked.. ANy idea what kinda damage will a spoilt steering cone do to the bike? I'm selling off this ride to a close friend of mine who just passed his class 2B.. Wana make sure everything is in good condition before letting it go..

HOw old are you bro? From what I know, AXA *the cheapest i've got so far* only insures those above 20 y/o.. I paid ard $650 for 3rd party insurance during my first yr of riding, which is last yr.. NTUC is much more ex, and Mitsui is real exorbitant..

midnight zeckers....i got prob wit my bike lar...my I.U unit spoilt lar...i change the fuse but nothing seems to change..still e I.U unit spoilt...for sure cannot repair,must buy new 1 punyer..haiz..so how much will it cost for the new n the 2nd hand 1??

1 more prob...when i open trottle n close back,for sure it will stuck..juz now when i dismentel my trottle,the cable tat attach to e trottle broke off already.. so in my mind right now,i wana change to fast trottle..but they say those cheap trottle dont last long.. but i dont mind lar..da kate nyer murah per...so can any1 explain to me watZ the different btwn fast trottle n the normal 1..n watZ the average price for both fast n normal rxz trottle...

btw macha,sori aku blom beli agi lu nyer fiber coz aku lom masok jb..dis sat petang aku nk masok jb biken trottle..mau follow per macha??any1 up to jb dis sat afternoon????

bro, try to tap ur positive wire straight to ur batt to test out if ur iu is still werking( make sure any card is slot into the iu so that it will beep)

if yes it is still werking then maybe the ends of the wire connecting to the fuse has rusted or corroded.

 

the last when i bought my IU unit was $155.80 for brand new.

second hand at bike shop might cost u around $70- $80.

 

fast throttle difference is that instead of opening 50% on your stock throttle u only need to open up 25% of your fast throttle. that means u dont need to twist the throttle to much.

 

fast throttle price:

OEM TZM $20-$25

daytona $25-$30

Domino $100+

Yup just to add in..U said fast throttle don't last..Well, i installed OEM TZM fast throttle 2 years ago. Still okay. Throttle cable blom putus. Kalau kau nampak ade org berbual kat telepon nangis² tgh tgh road tu aku ah bile throttle cable dah putus..

 

Aha, but so far been using it for abt 2 years..Still okay..Haiz, i wonder wad should i do when my throttle cable snap in the middle of the road..Clutch cable dah expert buat..(3 kali putus kat road)

a fren says its the ignition coil problem. if any got face this b4, what was the main problem and wat nids to be changed?

should be ur carb setting. if its ur ignition coil or magnento coil problem ur bike wont even be moving at all.

should be ur carb setting. if its ur ignition coil or magnento coil problem ur bike wont even be moving at all.
