Bro do you happen to be using any fast throttle? Is the throttle tube under the handlebar grip smooth or not?

yours too? god..im doubtful when i kick down to neutral at a traffic light..

thats super expensive..but i changed mine $30 ermm shinko dry cell..first time change,i dont know if its good or bad..but the lights works perfectly and horn is louder.. =)

Hey guys! Been awhile since I've posted here, but I'm in need of help!

 

My bike been revving high lately whenever I start the bike. I realize this only happens when I hold on to the throttle while starting the bike. Mayb I move the throttle and it didnt go back to rest position.

 

But today, I park the bike outside during the crazy heavy rainfall at 2-5. When i went back to start the bike, it didnt wanna start at all, so I played with the throttle abit, open choke everything. Then suddenly the throttle became super lose, wont go back at all to rest and the bike still wont start! I adjust2 abit then it seems okay already.

 

But when the bike finally start, it kept at rpm 2.5-3. My normal idle is at 1-1.5 only. Very low. So i adjusted the idle knob, but still remained high at 3. I off the engine, adjust the knob and throttle abit more and when I on back thats when the trouble really starts. It went to rpm 7 straight! Super noisy! Nothing brought the rpm down. I gave up and took a bus hm.

 

Tmw towing the bike to Will Motor to get it fix. But I normally like to ask around what brothers here might think the damage is so the shop wont ketuk me. I have a feeling its throttle cable. Is this true? If its so, how much will it cost? Other factors im considering maybe the carb or air filter dirty. Any brother can shine a light on me? Brother syamitomo mayb?

 

Hmmm... Seems to me ur having a throttle prob. Try rectifyin the prob frm the top to the bottom, strting frm the throttle assembly itself, then the cables(like wat Blur said) and then next to the carb slider(like wat Loudness said). And since u said tat u adjusted the throttle cable tension abit, I hav a feelin tat the needle nvr really go in the main jet (?)hole properly coz as u noe, it got plenty of freeplay. Anyway, it shld be an external, strght forward fault. Coz like u said, its been rainin heavily for the past few days; thngs got cold and stiff everywhere. Hahaha...

try 17-42...confirm there will be doubts like "crazy pe 17..where got ppl use 17..too big!" "can it even fit???" bla bla bla..tak caye sudah..try dulu

17-42 tak besar ke spocket blakang?aku jarang tumpang pillion,kadang2 aje..tu pun kalo g jb or merayap..but selalunya sorang ah.Bini aku ni kadang2 tanak ikut..that y i prefer more distance than pickup.

nope..17-42 kire ok..naik bukit walaupon ada pillion pat blkg ko takyah down gear..kalau nak kurangkan lagi stress distance..pakai 17-41..

lau pakai 17-42 bawak 120km/h rpm dlm 7.1.-7.3 gitu..so 17-41 should be slightly below 7..

 

to clear doubts again..ada org kata..sprocket size 17-42,16-39,15-36 sume mmg speed/rpm ratio sama,aku pernah pakai 16-39 den 17-42,16-39 distannce pon sama jgk engine bising..tapi pickup mau rabaks..naik bukit kene downgear..17-42=16-39,tapi 17-42 have better pickup from 0-100kmh,and also good pickup after ur slowing down and wanna go fast again..naik bukit motor tak sempot,though susah jgk nk speed,but at least it wont drop speed..itll maintain.

 

then again..engine and bike setting may also affect sprocket ratio..so im saying for those bikes block size 1.00 below,pipe standard carb set cukup2..aku tak pakai idung pat airbox and airbox aku tebukak siket and rim size 17" pakai tayar gemok.block and head sume tada kacau.

Should be able to pass bro. My 2t container pon dah bukak. Domino throttle and brake pump confirm lepas. But not sure about the caliper, to my knowledge oversize brake disc tk lepas. But can try your luck uh. Maybe can go to inspection center like ayer rajah or the one near pioneer sector.

Bro since your weight is around 100kg. I'll suggest you get a suspension which can be rebuild like showa, koni or ohlin for long term use. But if ur looking for budget type then kyb red spring and black body or makida black springs should be okie.

salam bro..yup sendat2 pasal angin n minyak kat carb tak set betul..mayb mainjet and oil jet pun ambik kira.takde kena mengena dgn bloc.itu yg aku tau ah,pasal motor aku pun pernah gitu.so mech aku check carb aku n dia tukar.kalo singapore ori speedometer ard 300-350.lagi murah mesia 500rm.
