Hi guys, if there is any meet up like under the block, I am very interested. I like to talk about bikes and would like to do up my RXZ. I am an experience rider which means that I am 43 yrs old and it has been a very long time since I had buddies to talk about bike. Well you can say uncle to nephew to be exact. Up till today, I can only remember Ah Boy shop but it seems that there are more shops offering good deals. Would like to hear about it and get my RXZ done up. Commitments are lesser now a days, so would like to enjoy time.

Did u reuse the old fuel cock and put it in the new tank. If yes that means ur gasket is worn out.

Ermmmm... If I'm not wrong, fuel cock dnt need/have any gasket. I might be wrong but I just swap my fuel cock to another tank too... :)

Ever saw an RXZ owner change his at a motorcycle shop. Saw that the mechanic took out everything such as the front cowling, meter, handle and all the brackets connected to the fork. But changing of the cone bearing was simple. Then put back all again. If I am not wrong, it is not expensive to get the shop to do it. Hope this info will help.

Another thing to check if it is leaking from the fuel cock or the floater part under the tank. Ways to rectify the prblm is try to get gasket glue from hardware shop. Open up the parts and spread some gasket glue to prevent from petrol leaking.

If u need cheap solution temporary. Go find for o-ring. Bring ur tank cap to any hardware shops and get the correct size.

If u wan a cheaper and more budget solution, I suggest using an old, used tyre tube(bicycle or motor), cut it into shape and place it over the current tank cap rubber and voila!!! ;)
