hey guys, i wanna ask, any young rx-z here? im taking bike license now and planning to buy a rxz once i pass tp...so i would wanna know how much does rxz insurance costs...im 18 years old btw.. cheers !

hi can i ask something regarding electrical issues for my rxz?

 

how can you tell whether the electrical problem is because of a weak battery or a spoiled rectifier or coil without the use of the volt measuring meter because i dont have one ?

 

well, see, i have installed this loud horn(Hella Horn)and it has been doing well and scaring the hell out of a whole load of ignorant drivers..

 

but recently, if i press the horn, it wont honk anymore.instead it just give a puny croak just like a sick tired frog..seriously.. and when i press the horn i noticed the neutral lights also momentarily fade off everytime i pressed the horn.. so i thought the battery was weak and thus i rode ard at a constant 6 to 7k rpm to charge it up.. and amazingly it worked.. my horn was working once again..

 

however, the very next day, i rode a short dist and i realised the battery was weak once again as the horn croaked again and whenever the signal lights was on, the neutral light was fading too like its going to die like that..

 

Im so sorry for the grandfather story but i just want to seek advice, whether should i just buy a new battery and fix it up myself or just go to my workshop to get it check and pay extra labour charge ?

 

Anybody knows why?

hahas, after your horn..means your battery might not be ori thats why the capacity is kinda weird..my battery can support hid lights without fading anything..got fix relay for your horn?

battery uh,change to a good new one if u wanna use the horn..last time i fix horn also like that..either change or leave it like that and hi rev first before honking...for me i dont bother change battery..2 stroke..waste of money..

 

anyway if its rectifier problem,u wont be able to start the bike coz the AC doesnt convert to DC to supply to spark plugs,and coil problem,the first symptom would be that the bike will die after sometime while riding.it will worsen,and eventually wont be able to start at all..but rect and coil isnt really a prob for 2 strokers(or non e-starters)

hahas..last time the sp..kana cheated badly..then take out all the hid and replace a few cables that were metal shouldered onto the board then re connect uhs..but now don't dare on..so many crap on the roads..not kana stomp means kana stop..

Speaking bout battery, I am not sure why I have to change batt most of the time..Mine wont last..1 year now and I've changed about 5 batts in total..is my wiring a disaster or is it the batt no good? be it a sg batt or jb batt..both also weak after a months for mine..some advise please?

you've gotta get the original japan one..be it you're running a japan machine/thai..because this japan rxz ar bro, very sensitive..japan con rod, japan ori piston kit, japan battery..all these uncovered parts, japan FTW! hid all this please use aftermarket..don't get from japan..they burn our pockets..

you know those lights that looks like led..but mine hid uhs..stripes..but of cause 65% of them the colour are like fading in and out..but still brighter than orchard christmas tree..

 

last time buy one sp, the person help me fix..but but but..the con rod snapped..dam..

 

pulled out those hid and un-shouldered the parts by using the popper gun from the battery and hid pc board..

 

must fix pc board that controls the electricity discharge..my hid is only giving out around 75% of 100%..so ok ok uhs..

if ur having that problem. most likely its ur magnetic coil and magnento is the problem. its not charging up ur batt properly.

angel eyes is the circular tube..hahas, i put for fun only laa..dare to put don't dare on..

if ur having that problem. most likely its ur magnetic coil and magnento is the problem. its not charging up ur batt properly.

 

but this magnetic coil or magnento will just cause electrical problem to my bike right? any other damage that I should know of?

Relay? I never fix. That time when i fix the horn, the mech say don't need to put the relay. U know how?

gotta consult the pro!! because i only know, if using lower quality batteries, with stock or lousier cdi, and many others that doesn't charge your battery well, relay is the only way to give a smoother electrical transfer..

Ouh ur tlkin abt the swingarm rubber uh? Last time I bght frm Automachinery, it cost less than $20, original. Then go JB and ask for ur trusted mechanic to fix for u. Lasted quite a while tat rubber, till nw. Bt nw zi dnt noe hw much it cost; I bghtand hv it fixed almost 2 yrs ago...
