hi zeckers i recently went to a mech to check on my bike because when i ride its like the fuel never pump in smoothly. like there is jerking when i accelerate. he say its because of some electrical spark thing(not the spark plug) which he quoted $98. if its not that, its either the CDI or rectifier. i dont know if its true or not so i didnt do the repairs first. any suggestions on why my bike is like that?

yeah.. you should try servicing your carb first.. kos inside the carb there is this thing call the needle jet.. there are small holes on it.. that holes are prone to clog.. and will kos the bike to jerk when acceleration.. *dont be mistaken with jet needle.. needle jet is where the needle sits in..* most of the time shop mech will rarely/seldom take out this part to clean.. so yah..

and you can actually tell which part of the carb (eg; pilot jet, main jet, needle, etc) is having issues just through your throttling.. :)

cheers, ride safe..

Thanks for your reply rxz73 and specky. So its because of the carburetor and not any electrical problems? Cause the mech doesnt seem confident in his answer thats why i try asking you guys since maybe you have experienced this matter before.

it may/may not be your carb.. but thats the first thing you can check.. rather then jumping straight into things that may cost you some big bucks.. :)

cheers..

Hello to all RXZ riders. Got a pretty simple question. Which shocks/absorbers are stiff between the Makida bronze, Makida stock, YSS non cannister and the rainbow ones? My current one is supersoft, shaky in low corners and looks like its meant not to have a pillion too. *slapforehead*

With age, comes a cage.
