Assalamualaikum fellow riders! Wished to sell off my 1 WEEK old(or rather one week of usage before I "hung" them) sport rim. Selling due to abandoned roadtrip plan. And not really a big fan of sport rim... Anyway, bought everything 1st hand, what you get is - 18" Kawa GTO(local), prepared/primed/airbrushed in weather-proof bright red(professionally done in my shipyard workplace), FKR tubeless 18 80/80(Thai), Koyo bearings(Jap) and the standard spacers and tubeless valve. hi, my rxz hard to start...usually 1 or 2 kicks is enough, now need to kick with throttle...n nd to throttle abit2 if not engine die...any idea why? carb isit?

guys,sad news for those who intend to keep and upkeep their rxz.

 

i just came back from thailand(hatyai) riding my 125z,with 3 other bikes which includes 1 rxz.

 

thai is a haven for 4 strokers mainly honda and yamaha(wave,spark,fino,nuovo,cbr150,phantom200 and even crf250!). their dealers are scattered all over the city, u can safely give them ur bike and they will do the replacement of parts and servicing with precision! not like JB and our mechs do without the right tools. and they are highly train to fix those bikes. and their parts are super cheap(of course not until u can overhaul the engine under $100).

 

my friend who rode wave 100 fix his bike there happily, while i found a yamaha dealer, and knowing that thai couldnt speak english that much, tried to ask for 125z/rxz parts, sadly to no avail. there are virtually no 2 strokes around. the yamaha staffs also dont know whats rxz/125z! i thought its just yamaha, so i went to honda and asked about NSR150SP for the spare parts,they too,dont know that bike even existed.

 

i rode the streets of hatyai fogging them with my overdosed of 2t smoked bike,at every traffic light the siamese will turn and look not with amazement but rather (eh?this junk is still alive?) kinda look. ive only found one very old and bad looking rxz,and 3 TZM that looks ok.

 

and since ive heard that even automachinery is getting hard to get the parts from japan,so we're left with malaysia. get ready guys, stock up the parts if u really intend to keep 2 stroke bikes cause i think soon after when even japan stop making the parts for these bikes,thats it for the legendary 2 strokers, rxz will be the next RD125LC/YPVS. 2 stroke is facing extinction!

 

ok i made this post just for sharing, if any of u guys wanna ride up to hatyai with a 2 stroke,ur last hope of getting help is at kedah/perak/kelantan, after crossing the border,its next to impossible to get a bikeshop that fix 2 strokes. cheers!
