Hi. Cant.seem to solve my problem here. Hope u guys can help. Just bought n rxz rebuilt myself from dust slowly with second hand stuff.

 

Carb set to standard mainjet n jet needle. C clip near the needle top. Sprocket just change to 16f 41r. rpm 6+ at 100km/h. Bike still high rev. Like stuck at rpm 5 for sometime. Then e rpm shoots up after that. How to i.eliminate this problem ma friendzz.?

Mine too. My rpm is at 5.5k at 100km/h. With 15t/36t. With good fc at 340 to a tank. Top at around 160km/h

1) piston size/bore is already big

2) wear and tear of piston rings

3) clutch housing

gd to know u rebuilt yourself.. there very rare of pple like that nowadays... upzz!!

 

bike high rev is not it. u mean the bike is too torquey? judging from the sprox used, yes.. to reduce torque change rear sprox to 38t or 39t for rpm wise u needa check on carb settings

Thanks for the reply bro. However, Im not really sure the sound come from the engine or the cylinder block cos its like quite loud. Btw, is it true if your bike have no power, u can go for carborator wash and it will increase your power? Just asking...

(: elo @fat-lip , i will lubricate as and when i got free time , jus a normal singer oil will do , put on mainstand-kick start-masok gear 1-squirt out the singer oil on to the inner&outer chain

 

also daily before i start the bike i jus use eye power lah see got slack , dirty or not , needs tightening etc (:

Well "washing" your carb wont give u any increase in horsepower but, u can feel its just mostly smooth and proper when u ride with it.. hp will only increase when u port and polish it

Well if ur a collector its a definate yes.. do look into the condition of it eg. Engine, outlook and its functionality.. if u needa rebuilt it all over again then u just be spendin more money which is, not a wise thing nowadays.

hey.. rpm high theres many cause to it. firstly check if the airbox clip to your carb is secured. second could be your carb just needs servicing. lastly could be theres a leak on your top or the bottom of the cylinder block.. hope this helps
