listen to the engine lor. second hand bike most importantly is the engine's condition... dun buy liao wait muz overhaul...

bro, condition of rxz is very difficult to judge by listening to the engine. tis thing very the subjective. wat u might hear is the sound of the piston n ring. wat if the shop or new owner change new piston n ring, so u wont hear the engine tat noisy. the important part is the conrod n internal things inside the engine tat u cannot judged by hearing. only way is to open up to see which obviously u cant. hehe. so in short, it is just ur luck to buy a 2nd hand bike in bike shop.

 

Unless u buy from pple but then if the owner can tell u frankly lar got prob or not. hehehehe.

 

The only 2nd hand good condition bike u can find is my bike. hahahahahahha (but not for sale of cos)

 

FU plate 5 yr old bike, mileage 90000 km, block standard from day 1 of the bike manufactured n piston size all standard 00. engine havent yet overhaul before, conrod everything is verified in good condition. N lastly, my bike is not japan made but malaysian batch. so not bad for a malaysian bike huh!

hehe... gd qns i bought tat time, mileage ard 30000+km. How i noe my conrod gd or not, every 10000km i did full service. clean the carb, change piston n ring. once the block is opened, u can see the conrd sticking out of the engine. everytime i did full service, i will ask him to check the conrod. how? easy he use his finger put inside the conrod which hold the piston and move it up down left right etc. of cos the engine is not running or shld i say it cant run cos the block have been stripped. from there when the conrod is moved every round up n down u can hear or feel if it is smooth or got any sound or not cos the engine not running. I hope u understand wat i mean.

 

so from i buy till now, i have change the piston or full service a total of 6 times till my mileage is now 90000. how i maintain my bike? every 5000km i service n setting the carb, change engine oil n spark plug. every 10000km i did full service = change piston n ring, wash the block n carb, service carb n setting, change engine oil n plug. so wat do u tink? tats y i say my bike good.

A real expert will be able to hear if conrod is still in good condition anot.trust me.

sound from piston ring and conrod is diffrent.

hahaha.....yala, in general, who expert? me of cos not. maybe u? how many of u got friends tat are expert? unless u expert can hear. then maybe u can help others who wants to buy rxz bike to hear the conrod for them.
