I remember somebody telling to check EO thru the right engine casing. I can find the tranparent hole but how to check if anything is wrong? I just had an accident (slow drop), and alot oil flow out.

At 1st i thought is petrol so i din't care, but it ended up that my full tank still runs 330 km. This makes me wonder if it is my EO that flows out. How?

 

There's a circular glass located at da right side of d engine casing, there r two markings-Low & High. U should check d amt of EO base on dis marking. From there u cld roughly gauge d amt of EO dat u have in ur engine.

By the way, anyone of you here try touring with your RXZ? Not hardcore touring lah, but i did see pic of a guy who ride his cub all the way to Mae Sot (Thai - Myammar border) Just wondering can our RXZ do it also.... hee hee

last time tried to lower the front, but cannot lower down anymore coz the right side of the fork got bengkok a bit. going to press the fork soon...anyone knoe the cost of pressing fork?...

 

Oh yeah i forgot bout ur fork. Not sure bout da price. Maybe u cld sent it to a bike shop n ask for quotation.

Bro, i was quoted 65$. racing boy oversized disc with bracket and installation from LAB (gold colour): but its the flower pattern type. Its nicer though than the circular type ones

 

That's cheap... But my mechanic really does not recommend the patterned flower type for safety reasons.

And Ive been quoted 70$ for HEL brake hose from HKL. hav any of yoy guys used it b4? any comments?

You are going to change your brake hose? Why not change your brake caliper too? Brembo!

 

Where can get Brembo caliper and brake disc for RXZ, and how much? Anybody know?

Brembo..........Is hard to find in Spore shops. They usually have it for small bikes like us...

 

But Johor shops...would have. Price qouted arnd 450-500RM(Xclude Disc)......

 

 

Why dun u use Aprilla caliper and Disc lyt most of the Cubs and Rxz riders using now.

I'm not going to bring my bike to Johor again, ever. You know anywhere in Singapore selling the Brembo caliper?

 

How good is the Aprillia caliper? Any ratings to compare?

They say the aprilla disc works very well........even in Wet Condition and High speed braking...Grip is Xcellent from wat i heard from sum Cub-Kia'z.

 

 

Singapore kinda hard laa bro to get it for 2B bIKES...Lyt all this. Why not u try to visit Wing Yap motor at thier Ang mo kio and Balestier Branch. They do sumtimes hav aftermarket stuffs.....

i bought mine at vactor one 2 yrs back ard 95 buck include ss banjo,ss nipple for bleed n ofcoz fresh motul brake fluid.

to all fellow rxz riders. me like to know where to get the best price for changing to newer fairings. cause i was quoted from $330 to $180 from various shops. so abit confused now la... i just want to change the front, both sides and tail light. and my fuel tank stickers to be replaced as the right side stickers a abit torn off.. thanks all
