'eeeeee' sound?maybe u wanna check if u have any outstanding installments wif ur bike shop..hehhee,juz joking,no offence bro.i also had dis problem dis afternoon but mine was the 'tuck' sound.can start but the sound coming out frm the block is disturbing..maybe like wat as infmd by our bro adyra the piston n the cylinder scratched..i will be going down to jb for a major check up on the block n piston as soon as i can..but why must dis happen during dis time?nak dekat Raya u knoe????

cakap org putih bro..hehehe..dat time was really in need of money to settle some things..so sold it to a gentleman for 200bucks..regarding ur bike,when will it be ready?hope b4 raya eh..anyway saw a wave wif a sticker on the box which states 'slow riders,live longer'...hehehhee

actually the nite b4 went 2 jb for full service they sey the rod shaking oreadi n need 2 overhaul n change tat la tis la. quote me a price of 500rm!!. gila siak. i change frm a fireblade 400RR 2 an rxz for budget purpose then not even 2 weeks tis prob come out. haiz.... nak raya somemore. aniway izit the price they quote is reasonable.

start ur engine, pull the 2t pump cable at ur carb n put one finger at the hole of the carb n rev slowly. see any 2t came out from the tube. if never come out that means ur 2t pump not working n tat may lead to the problem. TUCK sound.

That sounds like piston jam. it happens to me - I'm running 90km/hr and suddenly the engine give that eeeeee sound - but I don't have my rear tire lock on me though, maybe because I immediately pull in the clutch and go to the side of the road. I waited for a couple of minutes and kick start again and it starts fine (brother adyra must have wondered why I move so slow that time heheheh). I brought the bike to the shop and find out that the 2T pump doesn't pump 2T to the engine but it's late so the shop doesn't have time to open my engine so they just fix the 2T pump.

 

Went back 2 days later (I still ride the bike to work daily) and open the block and there you see my piston and block has bunch of scratches and need to rebore, change piston and stuff. While they're on it, I also ask them to decarbonize the pipe (new packing ans silencer), change G-power plug, and Motul Gear Oil. Currently I'm using Shell Advance 2T (any of you guys use this?).

 

Now the bike runs good but I still hear a soft clack clack and whirl sound from the engine (is this normal? or it should be smooth like 4 strokes engine?). Still running in the engine so can't whack yet but I feel the power difference already.

 

Once again thanks to bro Adyra to help me out with the bike.

the clack clack sound is normal for 2 stroke. there's a bit diff in sound if the block or piston scratch. so dun worry bro. to get a smooth sound like 4 stroke cannot lar bro. hehehehehe. anyway new look at ur bike so no regrets compared to previous bulldozer tyres. heheheeh. hows ur cornering with tt900? looks small in the outside but big diff in grip in the inside. sounds familiar??? hahaha

power booster? NOS??? hehehee no need lar bro. heard before good in performance mayb but bad for long run for the internal...... good setting for the bike makes ur bike powerful...

yes outboard and jetski 2t is the best. cos u know how fast those jetskie and outboard goes? so they have to make a good 2t for the jetskie. nothing wrong using that

its cheap but it may be local. con rod goyang? how to do know? your bike vibrate? do you feel your bike vibrate under your seat? if no then bike shop is cheating you. handle vibrate is not so serious bro.

yes this is the only way to make your bike fast. good setting. dont trust bike shop that do setting without testing your bike. me too have a problem finding bike shop that do setting.

i already changed a new piston and the ring..was shocked in seeing that my piston was burnt and had scratches..was tottaly black n when i feel it wif my finger,can really feel the scratches..the mech also polished my block..now on running in..u guys knoe wats the ideal milleage 4 running in?i never rebore my block,juz change new piston and rings..a fren told me dat 500km should be enouff..

if i were u,i would hunt down the bike shop which i bot the bike...2 weeks is really a short time..maybe u should negotiate wif the bike shop's boss n see wat he can offer u..use xcuses like,'if dis is the way u do business,then im afraid to reccomend my frens to u.'bring some frens along n let them pretend in buying from the shop..but usually bike shop will rectify the fault FOC..or at least half-half if its a second hand bike..all the best anyway..

nothing,maybe by pasting dat sticker on your bike,will minimise ur chances of being stopped by TP or ROV..
