Guys, i've got questions. If the air filter is removed, does it do any harm or not? But if it is removed, it will increase the bike's speed right?

 

secondly, anyone can explain about carb tuning? and what are the pros and cons? many2 thanks!

and i wanna change sprocket chain whole set is it at the range of 50-60$?

 

for tyres.. tube or tubeless good? and 80/80 or 80/90 or 90/80. i read at one of the pages here but forgot which one good to play corner. cos i dont need the speed. hehe. and my tayar botak already like ns man.

 

for 2t intake, if i lower down easy to piston jam? my bike smokey i dont like to give ppl behind smell my smoke. haha.

open choke no side effect lah, if nv on choke how to start bike, u going to kick till your leg break?

u using sports rims or spoke rims? if spoke then use tube tires, size 80/80 for front n back, super gd pick up, anything just pm me

air box cover remove can liao, can increase speed.

carb tuning, dun anyhow adjust, leave it to the mechanic

helo all....how much is the cost to spray black color sport rim....coz now mine is white ...in jb ?

 

Last time I did at the transvestite road is around $40 a pair. Black spray.

 

Just a word of caution, the people there tend to fix your bike and miss some screws. Be careful when you go there to do bike repairs. They are not certified mechanics.

For smokey pipes, there are 2 things to take note.

 

1st: Your 2T is too much.

 

2nd: Engine problems, due to incomplete burning. Engine needs tuning.

 

Recommendation: Re-tuning of Engine by a certified or professional mechanic.

I try to avoid going to JB fopr repairs anymore. Besides, I have my own mechanic.

Just wondering, anybody tried Sikolene engine oil before?

How does it compare to Castrol Power 1?

 

Any recommendations?

 

My Experiences

I tried Sikolene, pickup much smoother. Feels a bit lighter when riding. Keeps temperature down.

Cost: $22.00

 

Castrol Power 1

Keeps engine clean. A bit heavy. Smooth pickup. Temperature a bit high.

Cost: $12.00

 

Hope somebody can share.

 

Ahhh, gud question:lol: My experinced after swaping Penzoil with Sikolene the difference is, my bike getting smooth when speeding & riding at a slow phase. Normally, if you change your engine oil late you can feel that changing of gear will be a bit difficult (maybe the engine oil getting thicker). As for Sikolene, rarely felt that way althought i just swap to Sikolene recently. No harm trying it youself bro, then you yourself will feel the difference. If you got to rely on people suggestion also sometimes not accurate, learn to explore.
