Anyway, I tried. Unless you could bring your bike here and let my mechanic see.

Good luck.:thumb:

Hi :)

When next time your tank is empty, take it off the bike and look underneath. There is one thingy on the left inner side of the tank that's held with 3 or 4 screws. Open those and gently remove the unit from the tank - it is the fuel meter sensor, be careful as it has one "arm" with a floating device, this can bent if you pull it out with force or too fast.

When you have the sensor in your hand, look where the sliding contact is (under a black cover which you need to open another 2 screws to take it off). The "arm" is attached to a slider which slides over a coil of resistance wire.

Carefully bent this slider a little bit more towards the coil to make it have better contact.

Test it - attach the wire again and switch your ignition "on" so the fuel meter works. Slowly move the "arm" from one end to the other to simulate the movement inside the tank. See if your fuel meter follows correctly or if it still "shakes". See at which point it "shakes" - there is bad contact between the slider and the coil. Make sure you have good contact over the whole range.

When done, put the black cover on again and re-assemble the unit in the tank. Again, be careful when doing so, do not bent the "arm"!

Tighten the screws from outside first a little one-by-one, then fasten.

I have done this before because mine was "shaking" too... now no more :)

Best regards.....

Thanh
