Guys, I've got one problem here. Since the past 2 days, after when I ride long distance after expressways, when stoping at the main road, my engine sound different. More noisy when idle. I try to rev up.. It's very different from usual..

The sound is like a choking/stuffy sound.. It's when I ride after a long distance.

From what I hear, the sound comes from either the block or carb.. Also, i recognise my pipe head is leaking.. the reason is because the pipe is not tightened i think.. or is it because of the gasket that coz the noise?? do i need to change the gasket?

& when engine breaking, the stuffy/choking noise is louder.. i feel that engine breaking is not smooth as before.. more Jerky!! :faint:

Hi :)

 

Gay can also ride RXZ what.... and mine just got BRAND NEW front fender too, i cleaned the bike and found the fender is cracked.... wah, now all plastic parts new already........

 

Hope to get a new brake caliper soon...........

eh i want you guys opinion uh.. i want to have the best performance for my RXZ uh.. but of course legal and affordable one uh.. not for illegal racing or what la but juz to have the best riding experience.. what should i do uh.. i havent really kacau my bike yet so its consider as stock uh.. how uh? :cheeky:

Spark 135 hub maybe. Me last time using 125Z hub no problem. The reason for me using it because i want to have a rear disc brake.:) Now back to standard again. For further details, find out from bike shop better & sometimes accurate.:angel:

Hi :)

 

You have to check your chain periodically - if it starts running dry, you MUST lube it.

 

I myself normally do it once every two weeks (i drive like 400 kilometers per week currently) but if it rains often (like it does these days in Thailand, rain season...) i have to do it more often because water washes the chain lube away. Right now i lube every Saturday.

 

About the "YCLS" you have to make sure your RXZ is actually a YCLS model - see on the right side beside your carburetor, if you have a black round thingy there that receives several hoses, that is the YCLS unit ("Yamaha Computerized Lubrication System"). If you don't have it, your Z is no YCLS model (not all RXZ have it, on mine i have removed it).

 

Mine, despite actually being the YCLS model, had no sticker pointing out that fact. I have tough seen others which had a corresponding sticker on the spoiler in front/under the engine (which was missing on mine when i got it), and some had the "YCLS" integrated in the side panel decors.

 

Please note that some RXZ (specifically the older ones, "Japan type") also may have a sticker indicating "YEIS" which could be mistaken for YCLS. The "YEIS" stands for "Yamaha Energy Induction System" which to my knowledge ALL RXZ's have, it is the "boost bottle" sitting under the tank which is connected with a hose to the intake, between carb and block.
