Hi peepz, i need urgent help/info, anybody knows how much to replace a snapped/broken/putus 2T cable (the cable which connects to the 2T pump, pulled when throttling) ?

I mean the plastic part behind the seat, above the tail light. Tail fairing, tail cover, whatever that is called..... Please see on the photo. The original Yamaha one comes very close (few mm) to the tail light on both sides, but mine (and a couple others after-market that i tried) has an ugly large gap there.

 

But it must of course be the same type as mine as i don't want to change tail light again - i made mine (and the indicators) LED which was a lot of work :) (built myself)

What is premix? Castrol racing mixed power is it consider premix???

Ermmm... I think all hav some spacin in between the taillight and the fairing. Even mine hav a big space in between them, eventhough mine is already confirmed 101% original Yamaha parts. Maybe u could try and see if the taillight bracket if fixed properly or if it got dented or somethin. Watever it is, it doesn't really bother me much cause who would wan to see the back of my bike? Or for tat matter, my whole bike?

Premix is when u mixed 2t and ur fuel together-gether in ur fuel tank...

the fork seal broke or got leak is it?

ya, shop will do both together

i dono if the seal broke. how to check?

anyway yes, got leaking only on the left. and its very bad.

will left some residue of oil if i never wipe the leaking oil for a few days.

 

and clutch plates costing $46 without labour charge is it cheap or not?

As there is many of the old type RXZ in Bangkok i get jealous every day - because mine is the ONLY one which has such an "ugly ass", i.e. that big gap between the tail light and that cover. With all the others this is perfectly fitting..... the sides of the tail cover (or waddayacallit thing!) go straight down and cover the sides of the tail light, while mine does NOT go straight down but looks like bent outwards. This also makes it difficult to attach the side panels as they "clip" in there and it is indeed bent outwards....... there is no metal bracket where this would bolt onto, but i am tempted to make one! Aaaargh. It is NOT a genuine part (mine) and the ones i tried were the same - non-genuine, even when not bolted to anything you can see it is as "wide on the bottom" as mine.

 

Anyway, you got a (genuine, non-leaking) tank cap with key for sale?

hehehe one cute fella...

going premix is that : your 2t pump and the reservoir is taken off and the the pump is being sealed off..

so the by mixing your 2t into your tank with the ratio of 20-25ml of 2t per litre( 11 liters thus 20-25ml x 11) mixing it only when you are topping up your petrol... and shake your entire bike (whilst sitting on it but dont shake to much later you kena label giler... crazy heheh)

 

the process is simple and you can actually save ur 2t expenditure per two weeks.. :thumb:

 

the result or out come by doing these will make ur bike lighter and faster and the piston it self is showered by premixed petrol and thus combustion is better.. :goodluck:
