Yo presumedstraightboy. Few points:

 

 

hehehe one cute fella...

going premix is that : your 2t pump and the reservoir is taken off and the the pump is being sealed off..

so the by mixing your 2t into your tank with the ratio of 20-25ml of 2t per litre( 11 liters thus 20-25ml x 11) mixing it only when you are topping up your petrol... and shake your entire bike (whilst sitting on it but dont shake to much later you kena label giler... crazy heheh)

 

the process is simple and you can actually save ur 2t expenditure per two weeks.. :thumb:

 

the result or out come by doing these will make ur bike lighter and faster and the piston it self is showered by premixed petrol and thus combustion is better.. :goodluck:

 

They invented autolube systems for a reason. The oil pump makes sure that your engine get MORE oil when needed (high load/high rpm) and less when not needed (idle, low rpm). If you pre-mix, the engine always gets the same ratio - too "fat" for idle, too "lean" for high rpm.

 

I used to ride only pre-mix bikes in Germany (Zundapp) and pre-mixed 1:25 oil/petrol ratio even th4e manufacturer recommended 1:50. As i worked in a shop where Zundapps were fixed i saw to many with seized pistons and damaged bearings, specially tuned-up ones still being fueled with 1:50.

 

I never had a problem with any of my engines but the bad thing is - it's smokey.

 

Now you are recommending him to pre-mix in a 1:40 - 1:50 ratio. It's ok for normal riding, but if he want to "rempit" his piston will very soon be gone. RXZ engine is high-performance engine, it will require much more oil in high rpm's. Better keep auto-lube system in place and save weight somewhere else - one BigMac less per week saves more weight than removing the oil tank and oil pump :) The auto-lube system controls the oil ratio in a range of roughly 1:100 in idle to 1:15 at full throttle/max rpm (because it depends on throttle position as well as engine rpm!)

If you are serious, please show me a picture of the unit so i can see if it is suitable. If it is like mine (large gap) then you won't need to send it, because those i can find here. Also i prefer YOU to make the price, if i can afford it i will pay it. THEN send it after i paid - i don't want to cause cost on your end (shipping!) Also it depends whether A-AN has the time to do that for me - i don't want to bother anyone. By the way my name is not "gayboy" but "Thanh".

i dono if the seal broke. how to check?

anyway yes, got leaking only on the left. and its very bad.

will left some residue of oil if i never wipe the leaking oil for a few days.

 

and clutch plates costing $46 without labour charge is it cheap or not?

go service ur fork.

clutch plate the price i not sure, i guess should be ok

if nv wack bike can use 15ml per litre

As there is many of the old type RXZ in Bangkok i get jealous every day - because mine is the ONLY one which has such an "ugly ass", i.e. that big gap between the tail light and that cover. With all the others this is perfectly fitting..... the sides of the tail cover (or waddayacallit thing!) go straight down and cover the sides of the tail light, while mine does NOT go straight down but looks like bent outwards. This also makes it difficult to attach the side panels as they "clip" in there and it is indeed bent outwards....... there is no metal bracket where this would bolt onto, but i am tempted to make one! Aaaargh. It is NOT a genuine part (mine) and the ones i tried were the same - non-genuine, even when not bolted to anything you can see it is as "wide on the bottom" as mine.

 

Anyway, you got a (genuine, non-leaking) tank cap with key for sale?

Saw the pics of ur tail fairing. Yeah, it is ugly, even mine is not as wide as tat. Might be ur crooked frame I guess tat the tail didn't fit well together wif the rest of the fairings....

 

And no I don't hav an original tank cap, even I am lookin for one for my wife's bike...:goodluck:

I was asking Mr. Who for the parts - he offered bits and pieces for sale, already told me a while ago he'd be scrapping his Z and i was interested in those parts, he said he'll get back to me... never did..... which is whu i ask now :)

 

About that tail fairing (??) it is the part itself - my frame is no longer crooked if you remember, i bought a whole second RXZ to have my frame fixed, my frame is now straight as an arrow. This tail piece came with that RXZ but it is already after-market, and since i have tried two more, also after-market but from different suppliers, it's the same with all of them, even if not mounted, out of the package - they are bent outward like mine.

 

And it is not because of some bracket underneath because i can rather easily bend it in position where it should be - however of course it won't stay there.

 

Which is why i hope Mr. Who has one for sale which is better than mine, as once again this is a part "unavailable in Thailand".
