Can any rxz pro pls help me solve these problems…

 

red light oil indicator is for 4T or 2T oil? Just refill 500ml of 2T close to full liao, but it still lit up. Time to change engine oil??

 

Also had difficulty turning on and off signals, need to press a few times to turn on left signal and off signal, indication of weak battery? But no problem with right signal and headlight still working.

Frm my experience it is normal 4 the red light oil indicator beside the neutral indicator to light up which means u hav enuf 2t..If it does not light up it means ur 2t is running low.Well eo is best changed once in every month if usage of motorcycle is on daily basis.About ur signals problem i dun think its the problem wif ur batt...It must be time for u to change ur switch to a new one.Signs of weak batt could be u need to on ur throttle for ur signals n horn to work.Hope tis helps Savio27.

Hello everybody! I'm a new member here and would like to have your opinion.

 

I'm considering of buying RXZ FF plate the end of this month for $2000 w/o intrest and insurance. All together, downpayment $800 and $83.24 installments/month for 2yrs.

 

Actually this bike belongs to the machanic and he claims that he had just overhaulled the engine and partially modified it 2 weeks ago. He told me that he change the original bearing to original Japan made Highspeed Bearing and modified the caburator main jet to 220 or 230 I not very sure. No air box required he claimed. Tested and proven by himself that it has pickup and top at 173 km/h without much vibration. All standard old faring (not nice).

 

I really need your opinion/advice as you all have been riding this bike for long time maybe. Currently I'm riding my bro in law's RXK for 2 yrs and can't stand the vibrations it has while riding at low speed.

red light indicator is for 2t.

the red light will turn on while moving indicates tat ur 2t is low n need to top up. if it lights up during neutral it is normal while moving off it should not light up. if u fill up with 2t but still lights up then u have to check ur 2t pump.

 

hard to switch ur signal, check ur wiring first. i also encounter this during raining season. left signal have to press properly to work. for right signal, brake n headlight no prob.

if u ask me, i dun buy it. not worth it for FF plate for 2000 :faint:

 

standard rxz can top 160 u can ask the expert here.

for his mod only up to 173, might as well u get a standard rxz. no prob no hassle.

anyway the mod he mention is only standard mod. for the bearing of cos use original for the main jet is only the jetting no big deal even i can change for u. no airbox u also can do just take out but risky lar. long term no good.

overhaul engine, wat did he change? no big deal cos u shld noe how old is the bike n for his usage or previous owner sure overhaul. look at the classified. u can get better deal.

 

this is if u ask me lar. if others i dunno. some pple may like japan rxz but i dun like unless u can get japan rxz which is new or less than 4 year old then i oso want. u might not noe, things can wear n tear, metal oso can rust. japan rxz is good last time but consider the age so u ask urself.

Hmm.... Sounds good! But how long do you think the bike can last. I mean how long you use and you need to replace engine parts (eg. overhaul). Especially the high speed bearings. Can it last? I heard high speed bearings won't last long compare to the original standard one. Is it true??? But it smoother to ride right. Do you ever use high speed bearings before? Whats it's outcome? And what is the side effect if take out the air box for too long? Does it effect the engine? How?

firstly wat do u mean by sounds good? i dun understand. how long to use is depends on rider. 1 eg. i can give u, if the rider like racer, give u 2 yrs the conrod oso can loose. but for normal ridig like my uncle ride his rxz so far he havent overhaul engine. use 8 yrs already. high speed bearing, like u say lar many pple say not lasting. of cos it is smoother to ride. airbox yes it will affect the engine.

the purpose of airbox u can read in this forum got sticky about airbox. it is oso meant to filter out dust or particle wich enter ur carb then to ur engine. how to explain i oso hard to explain. u google u can find those explanations.

So like that might as well put the filter lar in the air box to prevent dust or particles get into your engine. So far I never put filter in my RXK. In future I won't take out the filter from my new bike.

 

Waah... After l see those explanations now 1 got 1 more problem. l already put deposit of $200 to the FF plate RXZ. So how leh.... 1 to take brand new RXZ olso got prob. Do you know what is the cost of new RXZ? And don't mind if l ask you what bike are you riding now?
