Actually, any portin or changes of settin done to ur bike will change ur bike's performance and ur fuel consumption. I suggest u do a top overhaulin first and see the bike performance first. Then from ther, u will know ur real bike performance and see wat's lackin.

 

Plus even if ur bike did clear meter, doesn't neccessarily means ur bike can fly! U need to see how the portin is bein done and any polishin is bein done so as to ensure smooth flow of the angin u know. And ultimately, u need to know how to play ur gear! Tat's wat me and A'An find out last time from our lil drag last time. Betul tak abg A'An???? Hehehehehe.....

I'm wondering how they make their bike fly without over revving their bike? Maybe should just jump off a bridge at 30km/h. Hehehe... Just kidding. Anyway, Welcome to the club bro. I guess u get some replies already but tis is my point anyway, I think some Zs are built differently, meanin tat how they perform from other stock Z may vary. Eg, my Z is very heavy and needs to go to 5000rpm to maintain 100km/h and top speed is 140km/h(while it is stock mind u) whereas my wife's Z is quite light & agile, only need to go 3500~4000rpm to maintain at 100km/h and top speed is 160km/h. The catch is both bike is "FE" plate, born in the same year(1985), same bored Y1 block & piston and both hav the same 5 gear and sprocket set. Tat is wat I found out from my lil' experiement so as for ur info....

 

wah, 5000rpm cn 100km/h... Mine must nid to drag 5th gear to 7000rpm den cn reach 100km/h. 6th gear must get 6000rpm to reach 100km/h.

My bike need to lose weight liao. Overweight i think. Or i'm the overweight one. =P

bro u wanna over haul is approx abt 300-500sgd.dis is the amt roughly u'll nid to do a overhaul either in sg or jb.but the actual cost of overhaul is based on wad parts nids to be changed...some parts that can still be used,will be serviced to make it better.but some parts thats damaged n cannot be recond will be changed.so basically u nid to haf abt 400+- uh for a overhaul.

Haiah... "Top overhaul" is just an expression only. I am still still refering to overhaul only. Maybe u can refer to Virus's post for better understandin...

 

As for a tour guide to JB, no prob just sound some of the oldtais over here(as who Daddy Fiesta already mentioned) and I'm sure they will help u out... Oh yeah, him bein one of the oldtais as well! Hee...

wah now den i noe red bull gives u wing...which part of a bull has a wing bro?but if red bull really give u wing,den i suggest u feed ur rxz wid red bull better...coz u want the bike to fly wid u wad...so let the wings be wid ur bike uh...the shop that i purchased my bike from quoted me 380sgd for an overhaul all ori parts...piston,piston ring,oil seal,gasket,rebore n ect all for 380sgd,den he also quoted me 55sgd for spocket 15f/39r + d.i.d chain...so in total is abt 435sgd lah + afew other stuff he repair for me such as minor wiring,tuning,servicing n ect all in 435sgd...want more info abt the shop can ask me here...i no nid to ask anybody permission b4 telling u where the shop is n i dun get commision for promoting the shop oso...hehehe...

Confirm that all the parts are Original Yamaha Genuine parts is it?

$380 should be a reasonable price for full overhaul.
