Thanx bro. My fork local lah, somemore kena pressed once after the accident. Plus, I think I really busted it when I jammed brake my bike durin a corner to avoid hittin a CAT!!! Haha...

Chin got all her stuff done at JB, rebore block, original piston, piston ring, all 3 gaskets, original piston bearing and reed valve for slightly more than wat u just paid in Spore!

 

Ur bike old? Then wat abt mine? The block is liking goin, "tukar moto... tukar moto..." Hahaha...

 

Alhamdulillah. Fixed up under my blok yest nite by 3 mechs(!) namely me, Chin & Phillip. Hahaha... Oh ya, got supervisor supervising us, my wife who just sit there. And read her story book. haiz... Now runnin smooth already. Her engine sound really reminded me of the time I first got my Z. Still runnin smooth.... Still virgin......... Haiz...

Setting the oil (2T) pump is easy. Remember RXZ only got one because it's two-stroke The pump is under the small cover on the right side of the engine, and the cable comes out on top of that, along with the two oil hoses (one going to the oil tank, the other to the carb or, if available, the YCLS unit). You set the oil pump with the setting screw in the cable. This may be hidden under a rubber cap, and fastened with an additional nut. You loosen this nut and then you can turn the setting screw (pardon me but i don't know what's the actual correct English word for it! I mean the metal thing where the cable goes through) like a normal screw, when you "close" it you will set the oil pump leaner (less oil goes to the engine) and if you "open" it, you will set the oil pump richer, i.e. more oil will go to the engine. After setting this, always fasten that additional nut as well or it may "re-set" itself due to vibrations.

 

More oil = good for the engine! But it will also cause smoke, and if you ride primarily short distances and/or use cheap 2T, it will cause carbon to build up in your exhaust pipe which, over time, will cause blockage of the pipe and lesser engine power. If you ride longer distance and/or use a good quality 2T (fully synthetic) you will not get that problem.

Would like to ask one more question, what's the cause of pistion ring broke?

Mine just changed recently because it's broken. I was trying to go top speed, but after I opened full throttle, it can't.

At the next traffic light, engine started to choke! OMG, i knew it was about to get a problem!

After clutching in to engage gear 1, suddenly my clutch cable snap!!!

this is the second time guys.

(Maybe I should change to stock clutch & brake lever as I'm using 'Pop Domino' lever)

maybe my clutch is too tight. As usual, kick start i luckily, bikeshop quite near. Changed it. Then rode off.

Then engine getting more & more choking, crying... RPM very high suddenly.

Then push to bikeshop. They say that piston ring broke..

Really dont know what's the cause. Maybe oil too little??

Really need u guys tips & opinions. Thanks a bunch!

Special hands? Hahaha... I'm just another normal person like u and the rest of the forumers who is keen to learn more abt RXZ. And also to DIY so as to try to save cost as much as possible. I mean, yest's project on Chin's bike is the first time I ever go tat far in dismantlin the Z. So yeah, believe it or not, it's through trial and error for me. Hahaha... But gonna hav u tell u tis, it'll be the best feelin in the world if u suceeded!!! So yeah, if u free just call me up and drop by ait. I may not be experienced or pro in tis bidang but I'm keen to learn!!! (Oh yeah, why not come down tis Sat, my fren from my last reservist also wan me to check on his bike lah. So we can hav the whole day of projectin on bikes!!! Hee...)

 

Btw, just checked my piston size yest and it's 1.25. Paiseh when I said 1.5. Hee..

its very different from other headlights .n i dunno if its available in the local or msia market uh...when its fixed up on my zeck i take pix again uh...btw as for the bulbs,i'm using those 12v/35w spotlight type of bulb those kinds that u see in showcase cabinate or downlight...the bulb comes in afew ratings for 12v.got 12/50w,12v/20w n 12v/35w.the diameter of the bulb i intend to use is 35mm,but they also haf it in 50mm.its easily available even at mustafa for abt S$2.50/bulb.it halogen if im not mistaken n got PHILIPS brand oso.
