What has the RXZ become????

 

Hi :)

 

Well.... this one RXZ, which was barely noticeable as an "RXZ" when i got it (more a "poor heap of junk with wheels sticking out") has become a BULLDOZER.

 

This Bulldozer LOVES to smoke other bikes - it's engine has been bored up to 150cc and ported, along with the Lemang pipe and a 16 front and 40 rear sprocket this is a very fast RXZ. Not fast enough to "clear the meter" but very close - oh, and my meter goes to 200 km/h :) oh, it actually DOES clear it, however an additional, digital, meter says different - the stock one lies somewhat, in fact fastest i went was 189 km/h. Oh, it generates approximately between 30 to 35 horsepower right now, the block is good for 50+ horsepower if i would use a larger carb and expansion chamber pipe.

 

However most of the time Bulldozer does what Bulldozers do best - run on torque at low rpm's, there is a lot of power from 2,000 rpm onward and i rarely go beyond 6,000 (100-ish km/h) except when someone wants to race me.

 

I have a second RXZ called "Destiny" which is slowly becoming a track bike, a number of modifications are done already and a large number of modifications is still to come, in the end it will have 180cc, 65+ horsepower and, hopefully, will go beyond 220-230 km/h.

 

I love my RXZ's (eventually a third one will join the bunch, this will become a scrambler) and i love modifying them.

 

Oh, been offered a complete VRR today, for cheap... i'm thinking hard of getting it.... that engine also goes into an RXZ, it would be 150cc liquid cooled. And as i need parts for a rear disc brake for Destiny this alone would be worth to get that VRR, take the brake, rear hub, engine and pipe and scrap the rest (it's in poor, but driveable condition, not really worth a complete re-build)...... should i?? Money is tight but that bike is cheeeeeeep.....

i heard the minus screw shld be turn at 1.5 turn clockwise.

i did that but my Rxz is like normal setting.

there was once this uncle tuned my carb and the performance was great.

but i lost contact with him and now i'm actually trying to do my bike alone.

so i will learn more abt my bike.

hope some of u can give some good answers..

 

and also pls give some ideas on how i can make my rxz give the gold performance.

the carb setting is hard for us to explain. what i realise is that they will first close the air then open it up slowly and listen for the high pitch tone for the lean mixture then they will close a lil bit of the air.

Hope the fellow members enjoy the makan session at Saujana.... I believe all people will agree that it was a good and cheap seafood dinner... I will like to apologise to all of the people that went as I am angry that all people did not turn up on time and have to wait here and there..... I believe Engineer will agree with me that meeting time is set and everyone should come on time ....

:thirsty: same here macha.. at least u hand wash.. i went for the cleaning service at tamp pb spend $$ some more... never hit rain, but today goin back from work hit.. sighs.. :sian::faint:
