original piston will indicate 55K on the piston head. local piston never seen before.... so dont know how it looks like

brake oil fluid dot 4 you might be able to find it at ahboy, or some petrol station. change it urself, pour the required amount into the brake pump. btw what gasket are you asking for??

(cant remember pricing, estimation)

top block gasket- $7.50

bottom block gasket - $2.50

pipe gasket- $2

no way in hell would labour and gasket and reboring cost that much..labour?how much effort those opening up the block would be needed?i saw mechanics changing my cone bearing...and its a whole damn more complicated then changing piston.

gasket?gasket pat agent tak sampai 10 ketol dok!!..gasket besi lagi...and rebore cost a few bucks sia..sorry uh if im really against bikeshop..kenna chop one time liao enough..kenna chop nvm..piston seize another thing!and found out i was given local piston!and paid rm200!miserable!..damn..

 

for $150 bucks..might as well just go jb..cheaper

beating da jamm at checkpoint plus da risk of getting robbed (although it always fun when we go ramai2),

$150 is well worth..

anw i got few frenz who ever got cheated on alot of things in jb..

given local stuff lah, anyhow fix lah, 2nd hand stuff made 2 look like 1st hand lah, etc etc..

i myself ever got cheated..wanna change wheel bearing but in da end da bearing last 1 day only..

my carbs anyhow set..there's lots more ah..lazy wanna story..too long..(anw forgotten bout all tat oreadi..)

in short, my bike do until jia lat at jb (dun wanna mention any names but its at bapok lane ah)

so i lost faith in jb and end up doin everything in SG..

abit pricy but good quality..

the mechs will actually show da original parts in their packaging b4 fixing on my bike in my presence upon my agreement..(good cust svc)

so far (2yrs++) my bike got no probs (other than wear n tear)..

if got probs den i jz go back 2 da same shop n tell the mechs..(if da same prob persist within 1 or 2 wks)

they'll re-do at no cost (provided da prob comes from wat they last did ah)..

i believe most shops in jb (or SG) dun hv dis aft sales svc..

but well, all dis depends on individual rite..

dis is only my point of view based on my little experience..

i go to HKL at bukit merah..

i noe, i noe..later sum1 will post saying HKL cheat lah, service anyhow lah etc etc..

but so far, to me, tat's da best shop giving me da best svc n price compared to most shops in SG..

i haven't got any probs with my bike since i go there other than normal wear n tear..(i think 2++ yrs of goin there is long enuff 2 justify my claims)

 

futhermore they dun jz repair blindly..

E.G let's say u go to da shop n say ur front wheel bearing spoil oreadi..

the mechs won't juz say ok n change it..

they will check 1st den advice u B4 doin anything..

if they think ur bearin is fine, then they won't change (unless u insist)..

 

 

i dun think any1 have ever heard me saying my bike got prob, have u..??

but plz dun take my word for it..ask ard or if u oreadi hv a shop tat u guyz r comfy wif, den jz stick 2 it..

dun bother changing to another shop only to regret den start whining..

dis is only my point of view..dun get me wrong bros n sis..
