How much is tghe footrest extension? Any pros and cons?...

I dont wanna use those racing footrest later alot of problem will occur....thinking to use extension...but scared pillion the footrest too "jack" to the back.

Aiseh... bro! Sori I dun understand wat "tghe" means?! Tu bahasa Vietnam ke Myanmar?

 

What I can say... oklar! Haven't face any problem yet. I heard Yoshimura footrest are quite fragile, broken easily but nice. POP Domino better quality with 1 mnth warranty but not nice. Other brand not sure.

 

I change frm standard to Yoshimura footrest because the gear shift lever is slightly longer and more confortable as I got long foot. The disadvantages are 1) You might have to remove your side stand and use only main stand in order to avoid the footrest lever to hit on your side stand spring or parts. 2) For pillion footrest, You have to weld a pair of bracket to your frame and use eg. 125Z pillion footrest (pillion don't feel confortable). 3) Very dangerous when the footrest breaks while riding!

 

So think twice if you all considering of changing footrests.

Bro Maxima Chain Wax power... Aku pong pakai... Best is 2 spray bile da balek riding den leave it overnite... Next day ride e wax tak akan fling...

Gi kedai moto suro die bukak cek ah... But usually tak ya top up la e brake fluid, lambat abis... But better 2 cek kan?

extension and facing foot rest is diff.

 

extension u use a bracket to pull the footrest to the back(but still use the old footrest).

just an additional braket is added.

 

cons-rear brake have difficulty to brake on time. gear shifting will be harder than before. side stand have to remove or slightly bend the protrude part.

 

racing footrest is changing the foot rest, no footrest for pillion, so have to weld the pillion footrest, have to use 125z pillion footrest or krr(what ever your preference).

 

cons-the welding will tear off and if a monster with 70kg press on the pillion footrest(to pillion you), dont you think it will break??

 

another method is to drill through the frame, but not recommended. but dont think its legal cos, modified.

 

army rule number #1.

do what ever you like/want, but dont get caught....
