No, mine are both 6-speed. 16-34 works only because i use 17" wheels, with stock wheels it would go fast but no torque at all (it HAD 16-34 when i got it first, could not climb the ramp from our underground parking space here at my place) But with the 17" wheels it works fine, top speed with the stock engine and modified air box, larger main jet and (which gives quite a lot more torque too!) and Lemang pipe is about 175 km/h. I will have that block bored up soon, aiming @180cc and then might use the smallest available rear sprocket which is a 28. If you want a 34 rear sprocket please PM me your address and i'll send you one (it is the smallest one can buy at a shop here, smaller ones have to be ordered).

Oic... Oh so ur using even SMALLER sprocket at the back so as to compensate the distance tat u lost wif ur 17" rims huh? But I think the best thing abt 17" rims is tat it's light right? And the fact tat there's PLENTY of diff tyre brand and sizes out there for 17"s. Battlax would be on my shopping list if I were to ever go 17"...

Yeah 17" are lighter... i found that the bike becomes very agile, specially when snake-ing through Bangkok's nightmare traffic. Great for cornering, too.... i use IRC tyres for they were the only ones i could get in identical treading for front and rear, i use 60/90 front and 70/90 rear. They are not the best tyres, specially when it's wet they have downsides.... but i don't ride that bike in the rain anyway, that's why i have two bikes

 

And yes, the smaller rear sprocket compensates for the smaller wheels. The pickup of the two bikes is nearly identical now (i can ride either bike at low rpm's which i like to do as it saves fuel) but i have to say Bulldozer (black one) is a lot heavier but also has a lot more power from the modified engine. It is also a lot faster thanks to that, fastest i had it was 193 km/h as per digital speedometer. Destiny (red/silver one) has her engine still all-stock but her time will come, too.

 

Sadly now i can't use either bike for the rain here just does not want to stop....... i'll go to work by car again today......

ok this may sound crazy. i JUST got to know that i need to renew my road tax NEXT WEEK. so i NEED to get my bike fixed asap(this weekend).. and i wanna do it in JB (yes yes because its a cheaper alternative )

i need to renew my roadtax by december.. but the shitty thing is that i have to go inspection twice this year which dosent make sense.... 2 time inspection in one year?? the last inspection was in june... i tynk they are trying to suck my money uh...

inspection usually they check ur pipe DB, front and rear brake, hi-low beam, mirrors. no illegal parts such as oversized brake disc.

- change my bike and spcket - apparently tajam already

- i think theres something wrong with my 2t pump (because excessive smoke just recently)

- no brake light

- no horn

- signal going crazy already

- (not to mention the layers of oil and dirt covering the bike)

- oh my cluth lever is reduced to "half its original size" because i fall- stupid accident

- ok my engine block needs changing (not my priority at the moment)

- definitely need to change my engine oil ( i think the last was erm.. 9 -10 months ago)

-oh no back brake at all (hahah.. explains the accident that cause me my clutch lever)

- oh i need a side mirror

 

 

as long as i get thru the inspection.. and and and.. JB would cost me probably half (or at least ALMOST half) of the cost that would incur here.

 

so help help this damsel in distress...

Oh... Alah I think tis one all kacang only, I'm sure the boys over here can somehow try and help u fix up ur bike probs. Just need to borong all the neccessary parts and let those DIY freaks (esp Blurchaoz!)do their magic!!! Too bad me working day shift today, coz I guess I'm considered ur part-time neighbour!!!
