Hi zeckers, a few advice i need from you all.

 

did you all respray your rxz frame before? DIY or do in shop?

 

roughly how much if i want to do in shop? and which shop should i go to do respray for the frame?

 

i am riding a 10 year old rxz and the welding of the frame were rusted.. will the frame break if i don't take care of the rust?

 

I believe some of them ever did it before. My advice is if you got good hayun spray skills then it's ok to do it yourself. Other that that, better consult friends or shop that is good in it. Of course, that will involve cash for sure.

 

How much shop charge will depends bro, if you are regular to a certain shop price wise can be discuss. Honestly speaking, as for me tak pernah hantar frame for spray. Hopefully those ever did it can share with you.

 

Standard ah bro, 10 years bike will tend to rust. Mcm mana you jaga pun, certain part will rust. Althought i'm riding FBD plate, some of the parts on my machine already rust. You must rajin2 maintain lah so the rust would not get worse. Frame break tak pernah dengar pun but there will be a possiblities if the rust is very bad. So happy trying!!!!:thumb:

bros,is it illegal if our silencer nye "bontot" is long??i ve seen 1 rxz with more than 15cm long....any thoughts?
It depends on how TP wanna produce the summon on you, if they consider you tampered with your exhaust systems then you will kena summon. Other than that maybe verbal warning. Very rare for TP to stop you only about the long corong(silencer). Sure will related about your visor, white smoke, noise etc... then follow by your corong(silencer). But for sure you will be attracted by them cos normally, illegal racing will have a setup like this.

thanks for the reply...another ques..when u guys clear meter,how high is ur rpm?and what is considered wacking?is reaching rpm 7 for each gear enough?

 

Hi.

 

I can clear my meter by some margin but the original meter is lying. The engine makes about 12,000 rpm in 6th gear when i hit 200 km/h on the stock meter (goes to 200), however at maximum possible it does just over 13,000 rpm and per digital meter reaches 193 km/h - never gone faster, i think more is not possible.

 

16/40 sprockets, stock 18" wheels, block bored to 150cc and ported, Tsukigi chamber pipe with Honda LS 125 silencer, stock carb/air box, roughly twice the stock power output. Certain modifications to the bike make it a lot heavier (!) than stock, otherwise maybe 210+ true km/h possible.

 

I rarely go beyond 5,500 rpm during normal driving, the real kick only comes beyond 6,000. When i drag race i pull each gear to max rpm, otherwise the (stock) clutch would slip when i hit the power band while in high gear.

hi guyz...i will like to ask a few questions regarding RXZ.....hope u guyz dun mind me a and take a few mins off to help me....thanks!

 

1)how many litres are ur FUEL tank?(average basis)

2)mileage on a full tank?

Hi :)

 

Oil is just over one Liter - when the red warning light comes on i can fill exactly one Liter and it's full to the top.

 

Fuel mileage varies - depending on driving style :) On average i do around 250 kilometers before the meter shows "empty" however i can then fill only some 10 liters, i.e. there is at least 4 liters still in the tank.

 

Please note it is impossible to empty the tank completely! If your fuel c_o_c_k has a reserve position and you run "dry" there you will still find about two liters, "hidden" in the other side of the tank.... to get it you would have to turn the bike upside-down (or take the tank off and turn it around in such a way that the petrol can go from the right side to the left, nope, leaning the bike is NOT sufficient, you'd have to lay it flat on it's side).

 

It was a nasty surprise for me when i swapped tanks recently.... had it "empty" (no petrol coming on reserve even after leaning the bike), took out the tank and put it upside down in order to remove the c_o_c_k and fuel sensor (cap already removed) and was sitting in a pool of petrol.

hmmm....so ur full tank is 14L???

 

sorry my mistake my oil tank means the petrol tank.....hahaha....

anyone change clutch plate before? how much would it be ?

 

i saw prices in malaysia, just the clutch plate its about 50++RM.

labour charge and gear oil not included.

hi Zeckers.. i have a RXZ front brake caliper rubber seal to let go.. i bought it but not using it anymore.

so anybody changing their own brake caliper seal and does not have the seal, can PM me, i will log in whenever i am free. you come and collect. i am in hougang.. thanks.

You need to purchase 3BS pipe for personal usage or temp usage for inspection??? If inspection purpose tak semestinya 3BS. Try asking Syamitomo, he currently got 3BS VIRGIN.:angel: If you are talking bout inspection purpose, i can loan you my VIRGIN caty pipe.:angel:
