My friend want to sell me his FT plate RXZ at $1400/- with box.Good condition. Is it a bargain?? Bike is about 8 and six months old.

I not expert but it doesnt sound cheap to me for a 1.5 years bike....unless U are so sure of the condition and that U will renew COE and carry on using the bike when the time comes...

Nov 2009 Cat D is $851...assuming price doesnt change...U need to pay $851 in 18mths....add to the sale price of $1400 = $2251...then add in maintenance work here and there....Havent even added in the insurance+road tax...

 

I personally dont think its worth it but if U really trust the seller and U know what U are getting into...why not?

 

yes I am...went to Koh Samui with a RwR and a Phantom in May this year.

I feel your pain. I'm a student and every month I will always kena saman. Be it smoke, parking, etc. And worst is, the fines are not cheap man.

 

Singapore is getting very expensive. Contraband cigarette fine up from $200 to $500. Illegal pipe I heard go up $700.

 

That's why I tone down my bike a bit. Last time nvr use mudguard now use. Last time tinted visor now no more. Tyre thread no more quickly change(otherwise i will wait till maybe become slick tyres den change haha).

 

Just be a "good boy" and you will get the least saman on the road.

Many thanks to Excert, Pendek & Syamitomo for making the Malacca trip happening. Alot of lesson learnt thru out the journey. Hmmm, Kinda sad now cos my Qistina is badly hurt after the Malacca trip. She had undergo her surgery yesterday and i'm hoping that she can hold on further until she is fully recover.

 

Thank god it happens at Gelang Patah, thanks Excert & Syamitomo for assiting me thru the darkness of Gelang Patah road just before the toll gantry. I don't blame you Pendek for not being there for me cos i can understand that you have BERDESUT far away from Syamitomo and pass thru the toll gantry after the little drag race. The only person that manage to go against the traffic flow under the thick darkness is Syamitomo. Thanks once again guys, really appreciate that....

so what's your mechanic's diagnosis of the problem?

 

yup...for me there are things to learn during the trip...will work at improving myself for it...think the most stressful is Syam cos he organiser and he had to come back to the toll booth for me...

hi all. usually when i topup petrol, i can only topup till like 5-6 litres only and it'll fill up to the brim already. why is this and what can i do ?

That's why i say least saman. Haha. Its not worth it lah. That $190 can do a lot of others things. Like a $70 on tinted visor can be use to buy a new Evo Rs959 helmet. Fikir mcm tu and u will start to be a "good boy".

Cute lah kau. I also dunno how to answer. Rxz tank local or original same capacity. I dunno exactly the capacity of the fuel tank but if you fill up 5-6 litres meaning u can still go further without filling up tank. Try push your bikes to your limit and see how far u can go. But standby reserve. I used to fill up 5-6 litres(fuel meter says almost empty). I tried riding more and more until i fill up 9 litres. Can still go futher.

Ur fuel meter not accurate??leading u to think that it is empty while it is not??goncang ur bike b4 u pump to ensure that it is really empty next time...cos from the top view with an open tank cap we cannot see the petrol inside the tank so must goncang the tank abit n if still got petrol den u can see the petrol flowing...

blocks come in malaysia or japan made for y3 and y4. but u need to know how to differenciate them thru the colours. local block thru their serial number.
