WTS : my beloved 2010 Ducati Streetfighter S - Midnight Black.

 

Mileage = 22k kms

Reg = July 2010

 

Apparently the Streetfighter S has stopped production therefore what limited bikes have been sold are owned, which makes this more valuable I'm not too sure of the number of blacks out there, I only knew one other. Base model SF1098 only comes in Red & White. The S model is the only model that is available in Gloss Black. Not to discount the SF848, but this is the only fighter series with the dry clutch left, which a number of people will still reminisce and turn heads due to the signature dry clutch sound.

 

This bike is a beast, with power everywhere from the get go, endless torque and blistering acceleration, all in the comfortable posture of a naked bike. My preference for this bike was converted the second after sitting on it, with more accessible and usable power than the Sportsbike 1098 that has a longer rev range, undeniably more suitable for the track.

 

This is my dream bike, and nothing else I've come across has come close in a package that suited what I wanted, which makes me very sad that I'm choosing to let it go, and giving up the hobby and riding lifestyle entirely.
