gear at neutral.. throttle and hear the sound...

gear at neutral.. clutch in and throttle and hear the sound again

i have tried the 2 methods you mention, i just hear the engine sound but when i'm starting to move off half clutch open throttle before changing to 2nd gear i'll hear the funny sound

Hi, this morning while starting my bike, warming up and then moving off, i hear some loud "pop" sound (like firecracker sound) from the exhaust bike when i move off, just like 5,6 times then back to normal sound. Is this normal? I just got this new bike for 1 week, so i'm very unsure whats happening. I told my experience friend, he say its normal, its burning/blowing up/out the excess carbon in the exhaust once gone, its back to normal. I'm not sure about this, so i hope to hear what the other experienced riders here have to advice on this. Thanks.

Hi ,NOT to worry so much, since this is a new bike there shuld not be any problem.

1, the back fire & difficult morning start may be due to the air/fuel ratio is not in correct proportion, to adjuct the tuning knot at your right hand side untill U feel the engine running sound smoothly.

2, Why don U go to web site to get the Manual, all the answers are in the Manual.

I'm quite most bikers would have close brush with accident, you learn to read the traffic and react better as you spend more time on the road and more time with your bike, so dun worry, practise makes perfect....... :thumb:

Please ride slowly & allure at all time when U are riding on the road.most importance try to keep in center of the left lane.

I tried...but this few things occur at junction or filter lane... does not have anything to do with center of lane. Today improve alot. Guess to learn you have to do the hard way.

Hmm quick question if i have to off my light before i start my TA 200... does that mean my battery is week? and on the express way how fast normally u all go? mine is 80-90 (know quite slow) but i feel the engine is have difficulty and does not dare to go higher.

Posted

1) 80~90kmh on the expressway is ok, as long as u are not hogging the right lane.

2) if u can't start ur bike with your headlight on, your batt is probably weak. Try revving your engine with your headlight on. If there is a big difference in brightness (when idling compared to revving) then your batt is weak.

3) It would be good to turn off the fuel kok if u don't intend to ride your bike for some time.

4) Bike precheck up to personal preference how thorough u want to do it. Personally, I do check to ensure that all my lights are in good working order before I ride off every time.

just 2 check with u guys abt the fork in front...

i went 2 view 1 ta200. the front fork was badly scartched. its on the inwards parts. so its nt cause by accident...

i suspect its cause by stone on the road...

just wondering if u guys face the same problem...

I think its cause by flying debris, like pebble and stones....its common problem for well used TA.

Do you need set your fuel setting to off when not using the bike? Any bike pre check and after check does we need to do for TA200?

You may refer to the Manual page35, pre-ride inspection if you are a bit

kia sue. But it is good to check follow the manual procedures
