Is it worth to buy a year 06 blackbird?

Hi members, pls advise me is it worth to buy a year 2006 Honda blackbird for $8000 which COE expire at year 2016? And how abt the bike parts? I believe the blackbird is fading off slowly on the roads.

Bro .. BB is the first breed of high performance touring bike ... I was even told Busa was a sequel to it (Not reliable info but i still take it .. hihihihi) .. Before the Hayabusa, it was the Kuro Tori (Blackbird) .. (See the many videos on Youtube)

 

I bought an 01 Model with 3 years remaining in 2008 at 6.3k n intending to keep it for as long as I can.. (Renewed COE at 2.3k in Nov 11) .. an 06 model will be the near to perfect version of the BB ..

 

I never regret buying !! It is stable at touring speed (even at 180km/h or more) n yet comfortable with its big tank to rest on ..

 

Like every bike which gets old yet BB parts is still accessible and they are good BB mechanics still attending to BB..

 

But do get a second or third opinion to answer ur worrries .. U may want to write on the BB thread in SBF .. All the best bros
