BMW R1150R for Sale

Hi. Selling my underutilised BMW R1150R. She needs a new owner that can ride her often. My office is very near home and sometimes I drive to work. No time to tour too. Bike is seldom used and its a shame for a bike this good. I am downgrading to a scooter.

 

Here are the details:

 

Bike registered in 2001

New COE ends: August 2021 (about 7 yrs 2 months more)

Road tax: Expires in July 14 ( January 2015 now)

Inspection: In January

Mileage: 73 000+ (relatively low for bike this age)

Own it for about 1.5yrs

Last owner is a friend and he had this bike for atleast 5-6yrs

 

Bike comes with

1. Leo Vince pipes (with approval letter)

2. Ohlins Shocks

3. Hella fog light

4. Extra set of seat given

5. Original BMW Panniers

6. Carbon Fibre Huggers

7. Touring windscreen (not fix on bike)

8. Some Black powder coated parts

Bike was bought with no ABS and serves me well. No issue. Rides well.

Previous owner took care of the bike well all these years.

Ready to tour too.

 

Will throw in these to a nice buyer(already done!! doesnt matter u nice or not)

3. New 6 mths road tax..

Owned it for 8 years. Did most of the upgrades.

The ABS did not come with the bike originally or was removed?

Came with the bike. Then the servos gave problems. Had a choice of changing out the unit at $2,500 or re-con or removing entirely. Decided to remove it since I hated the servos (cannot trail brake).

 

So converted all the stock brake lines to braided and all is well. Braking is firm, and I am happier.
