yeah, that was me.. nice to meet you.. I just realized that you might be there when you went with your bike followed ur friend..

oh, he sold his krr.. i was surprised when i parked my bike.. his krr didn't have the box anymore..

the paintwork has some scratches from previous owner.. so sad.. ehehe..

wow, you're so meticulous. yeah, it's a bit squeeky.. any suggestion to make it better?

Thanks!

wow...u actually noticed his KRR. cause it used to be covered up 90% of the time. the rear box and rack are at my home now. buyer didnt want the rear box. so i took it off for him.

to resolve the squeeky rear suspension, maybe can try putting some oil on the coil? i'm no professional as well. cause it's the 1st time i hear squeeky suspension on cbr150.

:cheeky:

Don, is steering cone = steer bearing? I remember changing mine the first time i got my bike. The handle bar felt very loose before changing it, especially when applying front brake.

Btw, sold off my cbr already. Thx to those upps my sale thread. Sold to a friend who has years of exp riding Honda Tiger back in his hometown. the bike is in good hands now, better than mine maybe. :p

as long as the steering handlebar can turn smoothly from left to right and vice versa w/o any kinks in between, then i guess the cone & bearings are fine. how easy it is to turn the handlebar could probably be more due to how tight the large bolt/nut on the handlebar is tightened.

time to bring yr experienced fren in here to share experience w/ us!

:cheer:

that day (1 or 2 week back) saw u at ten mile junction traffic light again. i was the repsol paint cbr150 which turned filtered left onto dairy farm road towards BKE while u headed straight towards rallway mall direction.

Thank you for the comments.... fixed.

Grounding wire of the horn was frayed beyond recognition already.... :sian:

go get those round head connectors and crimp the copper instead of twirling it around the bolt of the horn. if not after a while the copper will get fried.

I don't think there are many KRR/NSR with boxes on the road.. maybe that's why ^^

When it comes to electrics alway get it right the 1st time round - otherwise it will give problem later on :thumb:

i suppose u meant using the 2 led strips as signal lights since yr original signal lights are fixed on the rear mudguard?

voltage wise may have an issue w/ the stock blinker. have to replace w/ aftermarket blinker and perhaps change the front signals to leds too to balance it up.

:btw: yr intention is to remove the mudguard completely or to cut it short?

is the mudguard an entire piece that runs under below the seats?

if so, then how to cover yr backside against flying water during rain?

gotta customised a pan or sort to replace the mudguard for this purpose?

what bike is this?

Posted

so guys, been looking around for my new bike. So far I have seen a CBR600F (Of course), a Suzuki GSF Bandit 600 (with fairing), a few Yamaha Fazers 600, a Kawa ZZR, a Honda VFR750 (red) and a few Suzuki's GSX 600 n 750.

I liked the CBR600F because of the nice (different) colour scheme (yellow/blue) but that VFR750 was not too bad either... next week, test runs... soon.... bike ;-)

Any advice/suggestions welcome of course

but with the first screw up, comes more problems and more practise. practise never leads to perfect, but it leads to a job well done; at least better than the last time. Thanks for ur back up battery uncle lim. I have installed the new battery without any hiccups. Would u like me to return ur toilet fan battery? :p

is that a picture of a real LTA bike?

i dont think the no. plate suits the specifications mentioned in the thread:

http://www.singaporebikes.com/forums/showthread.php?t=68279

(B) the space between adjoining letters and between adjoining figures shall be 10 mm; the space between the letters and figures shall be 20 mm;

It doesnt look like there is 2cm worth of space between the A and the no. 9 in on the plate.

i tink it can be done w/ some modifications.

i attempted to project this but Boon Siew just wasn't able to provide me with a complete quotation for the parts i checked with them on.

:sian:

with the partial quote i have, the fairings cost smth like $65/piece.

:goodluck:
