And when should the registered date be?

based on the date of registration, sounds like a FW or FX plate?

the shop probably spent quite a sum in getting the bike repainted.

frm wat i observe, FW platers tend to belong to 1st batch of cbr150 w/ silver frame + metallic colored engine casing. i.e. different from the black color ones u c on the 2nd batch and onwards.

 

if u r willing to spare $2,500, i suggest u top up a bit more and get JetGrey's ride at $3,000. pricewise, i believe should be still negotiable~

 

btw 2.5k for a 2013 bike is abit on the high side, and i guess it will be a fw or a Fx plate? if you are keen, i MIGHT BE selling mine.. FW plate... filled with accessories. but surely less than 2.5k...

The CBX model is an uncle bike.... the latest is the CBX250 also known as Honda Twister or Super 4 smaller brother..... Only uncles ride it...

 

This on the other hand is the Honda Strada...... and yes its super uncle to the max....... look like everytime go out and ride go and sell ice cream at the same time....

my only concern is that FT platers are not going to last anywhere longer than 2yrs from today.

sold off my fren's FT KRR for only $900.

Haha.. Yea, mine's still negotiable.. Just that I'm hoping to sell it within this month. NTUC said I can get about $300 of my insurance refunded (just renewed it in Mar, wef Apr). And also, I need to fund my new ride, and prepare for Hari Raya.

 

Btw, Beat, if your foot can't reach the floor, what you should do is to tilt the bike one side so that you left foot can hold the bike up. You don't have to be die-die upright when you stop. Angle a bit abt 10-20 degrees should be ok.

I always try and use the shorter bikes at CDC. A lot more comfortable cause I can almost flat foot when I stop. Haha. =P

At CDC I used to aim the bigger # bikes regardless of height; those r e newer ones. Less likely to have problems like engine stall, squeaky brakes etc

Btw, I spend less than $35 a month on petrol- one of the pros.

For now EFI is still a distant fantasy cos most mechanics have been handling carburettor engines for ages. so EFI is still something they have yet to fully figure out.

Beat - i also female rider, took TP at CDC too.

CBR is my 1st bike.

Am also severly lacking in height as bf tends to point out very often

Dun need to cut out the seat one. If with the CDC bike can reach tip toe, CBR can confirm reach. The posture is more lean-forward but can get used to it very fast. I'd reccomend it. Comfortable, light, low maintenece bike.

I saw the bike within an hour of the original rider sending it over! Haha.

FI is good it promised u better fuel comsumption, better power, better in overall perfomance, and also better for the evironment ... like RATEDXXX said the future will be filled with EFI bikes... but still people wont stop using the old carb type bike now and in the future... for me an EFI on a small engine capacity is a no no no for me defeats the purpose and complicate things even more... for car EFI is awesome for small bikes best stick with the carb...
