There is a product call the chain degreaser and cleaner for 8 bucks. It is made to clean the chain one. Better not use wd 40 to clean it.

It's called the header (exhaust) pipe. You don't need to change it, this is normal. If you want you can remove it and paint it with high temp black paint but in time it will just burn off and look like that again.

 

Otherwise go up to Thailand and get yourself a nice stainless steel header pipe. Probably an oversized diameter one.

If U like try using " red colored rust inhibiting paint " - paint over the rusting part & repaint wif black paint ..... lor dun think WD-40 can help much .....de it is a penerating oil....... nai ....

alternatively and cheaper, can buy petrol and brush, park bike, sit down and wash the dirt and sand off the chain.. then apply lube.. after this the chain will be so clean , you may not want to ride ya bike!!!

NEVER use petrol. it will corrode the chain and sprocket.

well it think that's very personal wan lah. i find tt new exhaust quite ugly at first but the more i look at it the nicer it became leh. quite unique i feel.
