yup i bought from the shop at alexandra. i'll be getting it on my birthday cos insurance will be cheaper by $200

 

I tried it once at the shop ..... after 50m i try to make a U-turn but i dunno how the seller came to my rescue ^O^''' ...kinda paisei haha ....will need some practise.

Hmm. Maybe u haf to clean ya piston all these le. Then change the plugs and air filter lor.

first of all check ur tensioner...

cause i got pblm like that before...

can only go 80km/h

change only.. after that ok...

then clean ur carb aslo

 

if still not ok

just go to mechanic....

say change ur piston ring or if u got money the piston set change ah..

if mechanic sey overhaul..

ask him eat sh*t ah...

that means the mechanic lazy and wants ur money that why wanna overhaul..

 

so just change piston....

then running in all over again..

ur bike after that sure ok one..

can u recommend me a place where i can get al these done at the best deal? cz my dictionary of motorshops are very limited.. hehe.. and also the exact name of the air filter and spark plugs to get. high performance one where i can "fly"..

it's ok lah. last time i bring my sister to alexander to try the CBR150R she also can't do u-turn so myself and the salesman went to help her with it lor. after riding around will be ok le! :smile:

i answer for paiseh cuz i was the one who mentioned the NGK spark plug.

 

i'm using the NGK platinium spark plug, so far so good, just tt it needs time to warm up i think. last time at 6th gear i need to go 7500rpm to reach 100kph, now around 7300rpm liddat can reach 100kph liao.

 

but it may not be just the spark plug itself lah, cuz i changed my air filter and engine oil and spark plug and washing of carb all at the same time.

 

whether the NGK platinium spark plug is lasting or not i cannot tell yet. it's barely 1000km since my servicing.

 

air filter all of us are using original honda air filter if i'm not wrong so no basis for comparision.

to cruise at high speed with lower RPM, u got to do the following:

 

1. Decrease rear sprocket.

2. Increase front sprocket.

 

along with all these, u lose on pickup by quite a bit. top speed will still be the same. u wil be surprised by how much ur FC increases. i myself was surprised. an extra 2km/litre. meaning extra 20km on a full tank. ans tats quite abit. almost 10% - 15%

how can we improve the performance of the bike in terms of its pick-up and top speed? any suggestion anyone?

 

juz curious and had been wanting to noe bcoz some other 2 stroke biker how-lien want to chiong with me even though they noe that we (4 strokers) cant win them..

change exhaust end can. there is this guy selling at $150 only. brand is endurance. racing cans for races in thailand. tink if u neg with him.. $100 maybe?

 

change rear sprocket to big big ones, front to small small ones ==> improves pickup by a lot. (but FC decreases)

 

take out air filter.

 

use Vpower.

 

use thinner tyres. take out side fairings.. and bend as low as u can. all these increase pickup.

 

top speed will still be the same
