where to get this flatside carb? can our carb be bored also? wats our size now as stock?

There are some mechs who specialize in preparing cubs for racing.

They do things like put CBR150 heads on Sonics etc.

I'm sure they can do the carb for you etc.

As for bigbore I know that there is a guy in the Indo CBR150 club who big bored his to 180 or 200cc. Posted earlier in this thread with a link to the video with the engine sound.

hey Chris, think newer models of CBR150R feel quite different from our older models. i find our older models are less "vibraty" and feel a little more eager to go. newer models seem to feel softer and gentle. dunno if it's just me.

Hmmm... interesting.

Would like to test ride one some time.

Mine was very smooth.

I do think the Thai made bikes, CBR150's or cubs or anything do vary more from bike to bike than jap made bikes.

Quality levels and tolerances on manufacturing make each one feel a little different. Basically you have to be lucky!

CBR150 shouldn't have much vibration even when maxed out. Something must have been wrong with the balancing on her wheels.

We have a 40kg female friend who just rode all the way to cameron highlands on hers at 130-140km/h most of the way.

Check your wheels for balancing.

If I sell that I will get a CHEAP and old DR200/XR200 for my wife and I will ride that weekdays.

(will be registered in her name so I technically will only have 2 bikes :p)

:cheeky:

Then my RS250 and GasGas for weekend fun.

:cheer:

Better this way than having a valuable bike sitting at home almost all the time gathering dust.

Hi all have another question about the bike, how to clean the exterior of the exhaust to maintain it's shine? Just use water n soap can? Or must polish? N thnx kahhwee i will try to put near my chain there too!

Basically just make sure you dry the bike after cleaning and esp with the end can use a soft towel/cloth and dry off all the water and rub it till it shines.

I doubt can hit that much la. At most ah. 140 nia. 160 maybe due to meter error.

For 2B machine, i think there is a 15-25% error on the meter. Had a friend was doing 120km/h on Mandai Rd, zap by a stealth cam. Cam computer show 92km/h.

Lucky bas***d got away with 6pts $180. Road limit was 70km/h

Actually it shouldn't be that bad.

The total cost should be less than what I got for the CBR150.

Plus the size (wide bars) suits my 6'1" frame better and I can take it for some mild off road trailing duties in Johor. I can also start to teach her about riding off road with a tame controllable 4-stroke e-start machine that's nice and light.
