Hi guys,

 

Just got my CBR929 today... Woohoo!!!!

 

It's at the shop to get serviced etc and prepped for the track.

 

I'm so excited and can't wait to give it a good whacking!

yeah man. Gonna have to readjust. So used to riding small bikes without much power nowdays. Been about 9 months since I sold my Z1000.

wah, why suddenly get a CBR929? thought u gonna get some super motard?

Sold the Aprilia RS125 last week.

Got my motard already (KTM200). Just needs upgraded brakes which I hope to do later this month before the Nov Motard races at Kallang. 200 not really competitive for Motard but can play and have fun atleast.

Think I might have to go to JB for fuel now also as the CBR929 tank is BIG and expensive to fill. Prob go via 2nd link though.

Ok if this is the case, we meet at the coffee shop opposite the Simpang Bedok Post office at 10pm Wed. Distance to JB from here is under 20KM. Nothing to prepare, except some $$-RM, petrol is abt RM16 & EO is abt RM10-21 depending on the type choose. We go in buy petrol & change EO at JB, then return. All should be settle within 2 hours, unless there is a huge Jam at Woodland Causeway.

Nope, TP on the 24th. Hope she passes but it's her first TP so I guess it's slim chances.

I'm still riding it around on a daily basis. Actually don't really wanna stop coz the riding the 929 daily is gonna be EXPENSIVE with the fuel and tyre costs.

Anyway, I guess this way I can continue to ride the 150 a few days a week to keep it "warm" for her.

how much is the machine price? wat mileage? wat plate? hehe

 

nice bike to own man!! heard tat the handling is superb!!

 

is it carb or EFI? sorry ah not too sure abt this bike

Guess, we hv to go separately, East & West side too far leow. The other reason is the 2nd link petrol station is not near enough & U-turn too far away right ? 1st link petrol station much nearer & return much nearer for East side rider. Otherwise we can meet u at the Causeway ??

FS plate EFI bike which has done only 46,700km

 

Only weighs 170kgs (dry) and can't say much for the handling as yet as the previous owner never corners on it so the tyres are square and old and hard as rocks. Getting em changed tonight or tomorrow. (to nice soft RACE rubber)

Bike is sitting at my usual workshop for an oil change and general inspection etc to make sure it's track ready.

 

The fuel injection on this model is a little rough in the 3-4k rpm range so I'm considering putting a PCIII on it. They had sorted it out by the time the 954 was released which is why the 954's sell for alot more despite being a very similar bike.

 

Will show you it soon.
